Praise you for this! I hope you do it for every piece of apparel/armor in the BS projects!

Thank you! I am sure that once I get around to actually installing and playing Bruma/etc (I decided not to bother installing it until I was ready to
play it, given the size and extensiveness, and I keep getting distracted by other things lol) I will want (need) to make matches for all their outfits. And I will absolutely share them when I do!

Oh this series of mods is perfect! I've been looking for a mod like this for years. Two questions: first, what mod does the quarter staff the character in the green outfit is using come from? second, would you be at all interested in doing the same you did for this mod for the rest of the clothes added by Beyond Skyrim: Bruma and the Beyond Skyrim Wares of Tamriel mod?

Thank you again for this mod!

I'm so sorry for taking so long to answer, but I've been trying to track that quarterstaff down and now I can't even find it at all. (I lost that save/character to drive switching shenanigans so I can't just drop the staff on the ground and check its id whoops.) Presumably I still have the mod installed, so if/when I ever find it in my game again to figure out which mod it came from I will let you know!

THANK YOU for this.  I'm messing with is and Pride of Skyrim followers and Bodyslide as needed.  I'll let you know how it goes (after my surgery, could be a while).  Much appreciated.

Hey! Since you've done these ones, it'd be amazing if you were able to do a version for Colovian Noble Clothes as well. The dress in particular from it I feel would look really nice on the men.

You know, I tried that one before and couldn't get it to work but I know a lot more about ways to edit meshes than I did then, so maybe I'll give it another go! I'll add it to my ongoing list of stuff to match (found here), thanks for the suggestion!

Haha, I've tried editing meshes before and the most I was ever able to do was adjust the gendered Argonian Jewelry to fit the opposite for my hair mod and shorten one of them. I hope you're able to get those ones to work now that you know more! I look forward to seeing more of your matching edits when you release them.

oh this rules!!! I've been looking for this exact sort of thing. Would you ever consider making variants for some vanilla outfits? (I've been looking for one with the wedding clothes for my nb dragonborn but i don't think it's been done.) No worries if no; either way, thank you :)

There's a Wedding Dress for Males, but unfortunately it doesn't include the male outfit for females. And I agree, variants for the vanilla outfits would be great!

Thank you for this, Tathrin! I see you have some other variants like this, so I've got some mods to go download. :)

Thank you both! I've actually already done a few vanilla outfits but I was waiting to upload them until I had a whole bunch finished...but if you're interested I could upload what I have now, and either do future ones as updates or smaller "batches" of outfits...what would you folks rather? Wait for a whole wardrobe full, or have them in bits and pieces?

It'd be nice to have something now, and you can just update whenever you have something new. I imagine it might work best if you had separate files for each of the outfits so people who're fine with the dimorphism of certain outfits don't have to have them split, but personally I'd love to see a full vanilla remodel. If I had any idea how to do it or experience with modding, I'd even offer to help.

Nice, I'm very excited to hear that. I'm perfectly to happy to wait for the whole wardrobe, but I'd say do whatever is easier for you. Thank you again. :)

Just wanted to give you all an update and let you know that I've made matches for all the farmer and merchant clothes, and I'll be uploading those in a mod hopefully by this weekend if not sooner; just want to playtest them a bit first and make sure there's no egregious cilpping or weight issues first. Here's a peek:

So.... This makes almost everything invisible?
The regular Imperial Fine Clothes non replacer is fine. With this mod activated, 3/4 outfits for men are invisible and all 4 female ones are. Not really sure that's intended.

edit: Looks like the file paths in the plugin are incorrect, the armor addon records are looking for clothes\Tathrin\Cyrodiilic\ as a path for the mesh, which isn't what's in the folder.

I'm still getting invisible outfits, but I don't quite understand how to correct the issue myself.

I didn't see any inventory model and they turned my character's body (female khajiit if that matters) invisible except for her head/hands/feet/tail. The only one I got to show up was the green vest variant (the one in your first couple of screenshots). Unfortunately didn't think to try to drop them or try them on a non-khajiit follower though before nuking the save for other reasons though, sorry.

Hmm everything looks fine as far as race-assignment goes in SSEEdit for all the outfits (and if it's working for one of the outfits I'm not sure why it's not working for the others, that's especially weird) so I'm not sure what's going on but I'll try and figure it out. Are you using the vanilla body or something else? And did the original version of the mod work okay for you?

UPDATE: Okay I tested it out on a female khajiit (see new screenshots) and it's working fine on my end. Let me know about any body replacers or skeleton mods on your end, and if the original mod works without the patch, and we'll try and track-down what's making it weird in your game!

I'm not using any body mods but I do usually use XPMSSE.

I did a little more testing. Looks like it's actually just the green dress that makes the body invisible, although interestingly it works just fine on the men. The blue dress, blue vest, and green vest do show up on the character, but both the green dress and blue vest don't have inventory models (which is why I thought they'd also just be invisible, sorry for not double checking that!), and the green vest inventory model's looks oddly shiny. Tested this all with just yours and the original mod active as well to make sure it wasn't something caused by another mod I had active, and it doesn't seem that way, so I have no idea why it works on your end and not mine. :?

I don't think I got to try the 1.0 version of this mod in the game before I updated. I'm sure I downloaded it, but I think you updated before I actually started test-playing. The original mod works just fine.

Thanks for taking the time to troubleshoot with me, by the way.

Well son of a Hutt...it's a texture issue. (And a dumbassery issue.) The original mod only includes one mesh for each style and uses texture sets to change the colors. I instead have two meshes for each, one in each color variation. And the pathing of the patch's files reflects the latter. But because I didn't change the original female dresses and male tunics, just spread them out into four clothing items instead of two, I blithely left the "extra" original meshes out when I packed the mod file for download...not realizing that that meant the game would be unable to find the other color variants for those items!

So I'll get a new file uploaded shortly that should (cross your fingers!) take care of all that. Please give it a try and let me know if it works! (Also let me know if it doesn't work lmao...and we'll keep going until we fix it.) Thank you for helping me fix my mod! Sorry I released a buggier version than I thought I did!

You're welcome to do so; if you want to upload it as a patch just get steelfeathers's permission first. Otherwise I'm more than happy to host the file here if you want to send it to me. I won't be doing any CBBE or UNP or other body-mod versions myself because I don't use them and thus have never bothered to learn BodySlide. Sorry!

I don't play Bruma rn, but vanilla outfits sound interesting...

The original Imperial Fine Clothes mod adds these outfits to leveled lists in regular Skyrim areas. You won't see them on any people (unless you have mods that clothe NPCs in items from said leveled list, of course) but you'll find them in wardrobes and chests and such. I haven't actually played Bruma yet myself! I just really liked these clothes lol.

Oh, I know, I used to use that mod way back when :)
In Bruma they have a bunch of clothing of similar style too, so you're in for a treat
