Doesn't work w/ SKSE via MO2. I have even gone into the SkyrimPrefs.ini & manually adjusted the resolution to 3440x1440. Game still launches in 1920x1200.
EDIT: If you're using MO2 for your mods, then you need to go the edit the same SkyrimPrefs.ini file that is located within MO2.All in all you need to edit the following (3) files if you run MO2 and/or Vortex for mods - Use "Skyrim" or "Skyrim Special Edition" for you game name based on version: -- 1st: <drive name>:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Skyrim Special Edition\SkyrimPrefs.ini -- 2nd: <drive name>:\Users\<Your_Username>\Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition\SkyrimPrefs.ini -- 3rd: <drive name>:\Users\<Your_Username>\AppData\Local\ModOrganizer\Skyrim Special Edition\profiles\Default\SkyrimPrefs.ini
Finally! I've tried so many things to get it to work, no matter what I did the game was still stretched horizontally. No other resources ever mentioned the ini file in the Documents folder, just the game folder. Thank you!
For the 3 other people trying this on Linux, assuming you have used dovahkiinbear164's guide (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/91500), the files you need to change are: 1. /home/$user/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/Skyrim Special Edition/Skyrim/SkyrimPrefs.ini 2. /home/$user/.local/steam/steamapps/common/Skyrim Special Edition/Skyrim/SkyrimPrefs.ini 3. Through MO2's Virtual folder viewer: C:\users\steamuser\Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition\SkyrimPrefs.ini
THE ONLY ONE THAT WORKED FOR ME!! Just manually downloaded it without vortex, extracted into my Skyrim SE data folder, and enabled the mod in the load order in game. I'm mindblown, I've been trying so hard to find an ultrawide fix for the inventories because I couldnt see my weight or gold or half the game I guess. I'm halfway through this playthrough after I haven't played in years and it was really annoying me not being able to see the UI because of 3440x1440... either way thanks for this!! Huge!!

There's just one mistake; the file for racesex_menu is in wrong format and inside wrong folder so by default this menu is not working like it should.
This can be fixed by unpacking the mod and moving the file from "exported" folder to root (interface) and changing the extension from .gfx to .swf.
one question, does it really turn off achievements?
