The Whiterun throne is levitating just a bit above the ground. Not sure what mod is doing this, as I don't have a dragonsreach mod installed, I do have the great cities of whiterun & various exterior mods installed however?
Hello Kelretu! I found tiny incompatibility with Creation Club Myrwatch, that uses Winterhold Throne as normal armchair. So i copied original thrones and renamed them to be 02 versions instead of 01 and made Myrwatch's armchairs to use that vanilla variant. I hosted it on the nexus, but if you'd host it here as an optional compatch then i could hide my modsite, so people would have easier time finding about that incompatibility. Cheers!
Great idea, great little mod, never thought about the thrones but now that I see your new ones I dont wanna miss them. They are so much better than vanilla "chairs"
I can tell you that it works fine with JK's Dragonsreach. Right now I'm having an issue with his new Blue Palace where the throne is in the wrong position. I doubt that it is this mod causing the issue though. So, yes. This mod seems to work fine with JK's stuff. With the caveat that I don't know squat about resolving issues (or even being able to find them) in Xedit.
The throne issue with JK's has nothing to do with this mod. Cannot remember offhand exactly but it is cause by a mod conflict with another mod. You can find the answer in the comment section of JK's mod
While I cannot speak to other locations, I believe I know why Elisif's throne is still in the old location for some people who are using JK's Blue Palace overhaul. It's a Skyrim issue. Basically, if you visited the Blue Palace THEN installed JK's BP, Elisif probably sat on the throne in the old location causing Skyrim to "bake" that location into your saves from that point on. So it is NOT this mod (or JK's) causing the issue. It's Skyrim being, well, Skyrim.
tl;dr: Load this mod after JK's Blue Palace overhaul. Install both mods BEFORE visiting the Blue Palace.
They do for me and I have used this mod for months. Must be a different mod causing the issue. I would also point out that Jarls sometimes just don't sit down. Particularly the ones in the minor holds. They are scripted to move around and the scripts do not guarantee they must sit at any particular time. That pretentious twit in Falkreath never seems to sit down for me even since long before I used this mod.
Yes. Some people reporting the throne moving back to its original position but that is not cause by this mod. I am using both just fine, throne in its new spot and looking awesome
