Can anyone tell me that after making follower from this mod , does the follower save as example follower.esp like this in folder?or it doesn't save follower .esp in folder ?
I've been searching for the NPC Appearance Changer for a long time but couldn't find it. Going through your link, it doesn't seem to be available anymore in Nexus.
A bit of advice. Only use the changer with the npc's spawned from the hall. Every time I use it on a normal npc the game crashes and the saves, all of them, become unusable.
hello is this npc incompatible with preset that use high poly head? everytime i load (already ingame) save data the npc head will be revert to non high poly one, im still looking for the problem is it your mod, racemenu, or high poly head that make my follower head revert back whenever i load save data or die ingame. btw i use project proteus for changing npc, since npc appearance changer will give me black face everytime i enter the game. thanks
hhmm i'm not gonna lie i dont know, however I still use NPC appearance changer and dont have any issues, it MIGHT be my mod but not sure why it would as the npcs from this mod are the same as every other NPC in the game, normally when stats or appearances are reverted its because you have a mod causing that via a script or a hard setting in CK. I havent tried Project proteus yet, is this happening with just HoC npcs?
Update: I just used HoC with npc appearance changer on a mid save it worked, then i restarted the game and the npcs are still high poly for me. only thing i can think of with your issue is either load order, project proteus or another mod you got causing the change.
still not try on any other npc since im pretty noob about mod, and from my experience both npc changer ingame do it with my save data, so im afraid to do it with other npc, but i try it to dark brotherhood initiate and she doesn't have the issue. checking the log even though im completely clueless about it, it say a bunch of word like this with all other race included, maybe it has something to do with it

deactive poly head also didn't do nothing, so maybe racemenu or project proteus are conflicting with my other mod, thanks for reply. and thanks for making this great mod, atleast the face will bugged when i load when already play ingame, not when first load on the launch. and still fixable with reapply the appearance.
Unfortunately, like others have stated, the race menu doesn't work correctly. I can select a race from a list but when I summon them they aren't the race I picked but a random one. Furthermore their head is suffering from that common "black head" bug, where the body can be pale but the head is very dark. I believe that's on my end but the race option is bugged even on the test mod list I made (Unofficial Skyrim patch, required mods as well as this mod, cbbe). This mod is very promising and could become a replacement for Familiar Faces until Expired finishes the port. Even then many might prefer this one.
the black face bug is intended (read description) and the selecting race seems to be bugged for some. but you can download the early version before the menu system was implemented and instead of a menu there will be rooms with multi NPCS for you to choose from.
First of all, thanks for creating this mod. First impressions are good and it's a great idea! Sorry to say I got one bug though, and that is that I cannot select a race.
The gender menu works, I get a selection box. The voice menu works, I get a selection box. The Race menu doesn't do a thing when I click it. I hear a click sound. No selection box.
I tried re-installing the mod, and this is a minty fresh start savefile. Maybe a code problem since the other menus work? Maybe you could have it default to Nord race or something when no race can be selected?
Pseudocode: If (no == selection){ choose default race Nord }
BTW : I checked mod load order (also with NPC appearance mod) and it all seems ok on that front.
