Hello - A bit of clarity about how my water mods work. Essentially my first mod - Better water for RW2 was just a texture replacer for RW2 This mod series (all the TB's Improved...) aims to not only replace textures but also to change the way that those textures are used by the Skyrim engine (i.e. rendering). And this mod is a complication fo all the mods that I have released as part of this series.
What is next? Well, I'm currently working on improving the shading of water with no new normal maps - in essence, no performance loss improvements - and then making more custom maps however that stage has not been reached yet. It will be 2 mods one without new normals and one with new normals (This is separate from my last mod series!!! Tb's Improved.... and named Galastik water).
Hope I was able to clear everything up.
Water Seams: Ok there is one clear way to fix this - use my mod in random with another (I recommend pure waters) and jaut make sure my mod over writes it.
"People are reporting seams. I got none however, i did a very long time ago get sick of water seams so i created a patch myself from a script that converts water from oldrim mods. A simple script you can download from nexus. Run sseedit highlight all mods right click run script then select that script. It asks you for a name create name for patch then run. Make sure this patch loads last under bashed patch and after that under the water patch create and place dyndolod there = seamless tamriel bodies of water with this mods geniul graphics. Fixed. No need for this mod author to do a damn thing"
In order to remove the terrible reflection that changes if you move the camera:
Kamil Brągiel It is caused by screen space reflections effect shader limitation. You can fix it by editing your Skyrim.ini - set it under [display] to fWaterSSRIntensity=0.0001
Hi TheBlenderAnimator, my name is GamerPauly, I am a Porter & Mod Author for Xbox, PC and PlayStation, I mainly upload mods to Bethesda.net (Xbox) and wondered if I could obtain your permission to upload any of your mods to Bethesda.net, it would be mainly in bundles e.g. Skyrim AIO`s, Water bundles, SMIM`s etc.
I will give you full credits and post links back to your mods and nexus profile.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind Regards
GamerPauly
P.s. You already granted me permission via private message but from the 12th March we can no longer use the screenshots as proof of permission.
I tried several water mods, your mod is amazing, I travel sometimes to Southtirol and there I find in the mountains smal laks with such colours. Thank you :)
There's a patch of water missing in the river near between Markarth and Kolsgeggr Mine that I'm 89% sure is caused by this mod. It's not a big patch and so it's easy to ignore- or snort at when I pass it- but I've noticed with and without water mods installed, on five different playthroughs and on two different computers. I'm not willing to uninstall this mod to bring the water back though, it's too good to lose
if you're talking about small stream directly in front of Markarth on the left, that exist bellow the walls it is not this mod. I never used this mod and I got that bug often, with different mods or even vanilla. it's random how it appears. it's a known game bug. someone even made a mod to fix it here.
