About this mod
SSE Port of the simple plugin that removes all instances of the playing character groaning and moaning during combat. It takes inspiration from other similar mods, but also covers out-of-breath scenarios caused by low stamina (blocking, sprinting and so on). It now covers also death grunts and it's ESL-flagged!

An SSE port of the plugin that mutes all instances of groans, moans and heavy breathing the playing character does during combat.
I took inspiration from the extremely valid Silenced Player Combat by igli that does it in a very simple way (by adding a not-player condition to the various dialogue topics triggering the sounds).
Why yet another mod of this kind?
Simply put: none of the existing mods covers really ALL istances of groans, moans and heavy breathing the PC does (for example: attempting a block with no stamina), so i thought of sharing it.
It took me a bit of tinkering but i think i finally managed to spot all of them. Great for those of you who simply want a completely silent character for no specific reason.

SSE extras:
A message from user renketsu0 made me realize how truly useful this tiny mod can be: a perfect excuse for me to remember i still had to port it to SE (thank you!).
For the SSE version, the mod now covers also the various death grunts your PC makes when dying (handy if you happen to die a lot).
Also, the ESP is now flagged as ESL, so it won't take up a slot in your load order!
INSTALLATION:
Just drop the esp in your Skyrim/Data folder and enable it via NMM, Vortex or any other Mod Manager of your choice, as usual.
NOTES ON COMPATIBILITY:
This mod does not edit sound files and should be compatible with anything that does not edit the same records.
It does not cover or affect Shouts.
As a general rule, if you have mods related to sound and combat or, possibly, even ones that add new races/player voices to the game, you may want to check if they happen to overwrite the entries of this mod. In that case, just make sure the "not-player" condition i added to remove the grunts carries over to a merged patch at the bottom of your load order.
