Another lovely small home, this time near Riften. I usually gravitate towards Honeyside when I am in this part of the map, but I can see this as being a valuable base if you have not completed the housing quest

Thanks again, you continue to deliver, I appreciate it

This is an adorable little place which would be a really nice place to start a life in Skyrim. The area for the follower is very sweet and the views there are so lovely I'd probably let them take the bed and I'd stay out there! Thank you again for another sweet addition to Skyrim. :-) Endorsed. This one is definitely staying in my mod list!

The mapmarker calls it Quaint Shack BTW rather than quaint home.

      Thank you :D
Good catch! I thought I'd gotten all the things. I made this before Quaint Shack, put it aside for some reason, made and released several others including another called Quaint Shack... and then two days ago was like oh right I have this almost-finished-one; so renamed it something else and finished it. Guess I missed the mapmarker.

I don't know when the 'evil/necromancer' one will be released, rip... I started working on two others, including/just started a dwemer-themed one lol : p so it might be a while.

It'll be ready when it's ready! This one was a very nice surprise though. Things are hectic here - we got trapped by lockdown with us in one place and our furniture somewhere else. Your lovely homes have given me places to escape where things are not so chaotic!!! You're developing quite a fan base! :-)

I do like the location for this one... there are shops nearby but the scenery is still wonderful! I like Bark too! My own dog was adopted and very wary (through abuse) so I can relate to Bark! I know I keep saying this but you're eye for detail in the little back stories is really appealing!

This dwemer one I'm working on is already a pain, something has the lighting all wonky in CK and and in-game fog which wasn't there before even in my other houses though less noticeable. Thought I fixed it, but it's still got random 'beneath the ground' lighting in interior CK and in-game, and east/west lighting so to speak is diff too... warm west vs cold east lol. I have no idea what's going on. I'm already running out of steam cause my brain's tryna' figure how to fix it. I never noticed it before, so it's drivin' me bonkers.

My life is fortunately much the same, although at some point soon I'll be participating in a job help program/evaluation which will hopefully lead to job... I'm pretty much a hermit I suppose and live with fam, don't get out much. All these housemods have definitely helped me feel more 'productive' I guess. Along with walks with my mum at a local park every week(which we only started a month ago, I hope it becomes a 'tradition' or whathaveyou, we're terrible with those but once a week walk is nice and simple and not too much for me).
Yeah, so many thank yous. I never know what to say, it's just like... oh wow people actually like my stuff. And its different from deviantart because drawing/painting is <3, but mods? They *visit* and 'interact' with the art instead of like, 'oh cool drawing'. A whole other level, so if liking that too, it's just. Lots of wow. :P

Then I shall keep fingers and toes crossed that the perfect job comes your way. Just keep bunging in applications! :-) Walking is good! Art is a good channel too... I can't be bothered to do anything software related any more but I still know how to admire people who do! So I'm so glad I came across your 'quaint' series. My Skyrim is peppered with quaint homes so that LAL is now a lot more interesting!

Oh its' a program to like... help people who struggle with... things/have disabilities, they watch you at (a) 'job(s)'(would be plural, but covid) for few weeks and evaluate strengths/weaknesses then have meeting, and you go from there. Mum is much more thinking it will help. I don't. But. I'll try my best, like always. Probably lots of masking, as usual.(not literal masks)

Thank you. A year ago, didn't think I could make housemods, but kept it in mind like... one of those things 'maybe someday, feels like I could, but I"m just not getting it, so put it aside'. I'm learning not to bother otherwise if I *don't* have that feeling, because it's not mentally/healthy for me personally to keep trying something that doesn't work, even after a break. So I kind of let it lie(lay? ly?) for a while and then was just like 'ope, feel like trying again, what the heck' and it stuck. :P I can't think of good words except 'tis so cool' that people actually like these...
I've already got an idea that I want to make a snow elf housemod in the Vale. Heh. So. Still several in progress with no date of finishing and publish lol.

Thanks for the mod, Rosehla. Not too much and not too little. A lot of "small cottage" houses look ragged and bare or stuff every idle/craft station/storage into every nook and cranny, but not this one. Perfect for solitary/spouse only playthroughs.

      You're welcome. :)
I do think I put a lot of idles though >..< I uh, *try* not to put em too close to each other but I can't say I always succeed, lol... I suppose if they don't use them though they just... don't use them. I really like, if player brings in a companion or two(depending on house size :P ), into a house, they do more than sit in chair or use crafting/cooking.
This dwemer/dwarven one I'm working on right now, I think the idles are pretty well spaced out... so next time I go in-game I'm gonna test, because I *really* want them to use the 'reading a book' idle... @.@ they so rarely use that one in my houses that have it; so it's become something of a 'rare'-use idle.

As soon as I saw 'Quaint' I rushed to download. Your vision of these homes fits perfectly within my style of gameplay. Thank you for your work, it is greatly appreciated.
