This mod seems to work fine without the esm so long as you don't care about mcm functionality. It will require a few tweaks though. Under Meshes\actors\character\animations\DynamicAnimationReplacer\_CustomConditions\ there are a series of numbered folders. Each of these contains a file called _conditions.txt. Open _conditons.txt and remove the first line reading:
HasMagicEffect("Diverse Random NormalAttack.esp" | 0x468457) AND
If you want only your character to use these animations, replace the first line with this:
IsActorBase("Skyrim.esm" | 0x00000007) AND
Now the Magic effect from the esm is no longer necessary for the animations to trigger, but there is nothing randomizing the animations either, so only the animations in the last folder will actually trigger. To fix this, add:
Random(0.2)
To each _conditions.txt. I added it as the last line to not mess with the AND OR functions in the other conditions, but I don't know if that actually affects anything. There is nothing special about the number 0.2, it is simply what I used and I have put it here for copy and paste simplicity. If you want an animation to be more or less rare, you can change this number. A number closer to one will occur more often than a number closer to zero. Also, higher folder numbers are given priority in DAR, so those animations are more likely to play all things being equal. You can experiment with changing the random value to offset this if you want.
If you find a result you like doing this, you can delete the esm and scripts folder from this mod. Not mid playthrough obviously. Do not try this if you have already saved with the esm and scripts active unless you are willing to roll back to a previous save. Consider your own situation carefully before deciding to do without the esm.
i had some time to kill with covid and all. i wanted to do a 1hm playthrough so i took some time to figure out what animations are involved to customize figured id leave my findings if anyone else is interested in disabling or changing what animations etc this is for 1 hand and 2 hand swords only i dont use other weapons 80001001 - 1hm forward stabbing 80001002 - 1hm bottom right upward slash 80001003 - 1hm overhead slash 80001004 - 1hm overhead slash again

I don't get how I am supposed to install this mod or any of its similars .
I downloaded and installed both this file and DAR via Vortex , let Nemesis do its thing...booted up the game...and my character will still only ever use ONE animation instead of diverse ones . So what am I doing wrong ? Is DAR the matter ?
If you have DAR then all you have to do is install this normally. Nothing special otherwise. If it's not working then it's probably an issue with DAR. Make sure you have the right one for the version you're playing (AE or SE). If you do have the correct one then you've got something conflicting with it somehow.
