    As always, save your game before you try out a mod, my mod is no exception.

    Don't forget to unlock the Skyrim borders.
    It is explained in the Read Me txt how.
    After installing, save your game and restart your saved game. Otherwise you won't hear dialogues from NPC's

    After almost two years I returned with version 4.3.2. containing some fixes and a few alterations only. With this version I made:

    - The quest you receive in Sukarnee a little bit more lineair. Tested this quest a couple of times and it really worked, you get your gear
    back after the quest if you play it the right way. Of course, better save your game before playing this quest. If you only want to play easy quests, avoid this one.
    - Red's Blacksmith exterior is corrected and added a few other minor things.
    - Morreath's army has it's own armor (vanilla pieces, so don't expect much) but this is more consistent.
    - Some interiors were poorly done, so I added more furniture.
    - Made this mod more compatable with The Gray Cowl of Nocturnal. Moved the road further from Seviana's House a bit.
    - Added a few extra things (treasure) in a couple of dungeons and caves.
    - I don't have Gromm's pass add-on, but i worked around the area where it probably overwrote the entrance of that pass. I am not sure if I  succeeded.

    I only worked on the esp file, not on the bsa.

    Also made a Northern Encounters patch.

    Great mod, highly recommended add to your list. Vast landscape to explore filled with unique little locales. Also highly recommended you AVOID Sukarnee. I find the quest premise of 'Reachmen Hospitality' unacceptable, the dungeon beyond tedious, and most importantly you, like myself and others, will possibly lose literally all of your gear to a glitch at the end of it. Had to restore a save and take the L of an hour and a half down the drain spent getting bullied by Forsworn I could slay with a literal breath. How a bunch of veritable bandits in a wooden shanty imprison the Dragonborn anyhow is your guess, but don't let it happen to you too.  Malded so hard it made me leave this as my first Nexus comment lol. You will enjoy the rest of the border to Hamerfell, but steer clear of Surkanee.

      This mod is complete garbage. I also lost all my stuff after the Sukarnee mine quest, even quest items.. Not only that, but saves don't write to disk inside of the mine, only outside. My character is at level 92, one handed is at 100 with all 5 perks. Had to go to god mode to kill any of the Falmer, who also were able to completely restore their health. Had to TCL though gates that weren't locked but wouldn't open.
      The hell of it all is that this dude was told about the lost items a couple of years ago. I should have read the notes before installing. My only good save is from a couple of days ago. On top of everything else, the chief and guard are marked essential so you can't fight your way out, and even if you could, there is no chest with your items.

      My apologies!

      I wasn't active on nexus for a while. And yes, I was aware of one person who complained about not recieving their belongings after the quest. But since I have tested this quest many times and it worked (otherwise I wouldn't upload this mod - of course), I simply thought it was something that occurred once. But when I returned and read your complains, I can only say that I am sorry that it happened.

      EDIT: tested it again and I got my gear back (21-03-'24). Quest seems to work fine.

      So falbemuth , please check your load order first if you have encountered a problem ingame, before you send rude comments!

      Hi folks, i had the same problem at the end for the storage for my confiscated stuff not opening, but i do like the puzzle by the levers in the maze ;-) I like a challenge LOL. It appears well solvable though. Well done Joop, and thanx for updating this nice mod. It's really great fun.

      Hi Abelyo, i'm playing since years with esmlified mods like the ones by Joop. Without problems. I use the 'Set unique NPCs Persistent-40260-0-1-1599635144' for SsEdit to achieve this. And after this operation you'll have to create a new seq file:
      click is ssedit on the filename of the mod with the right mouse button
      go all down in the appearing menu and click on 'Other'
      then select 'Create SEQ File'
      That's all. You can leave the file extension 'esp'

    Unfortunately, there is a buliding conflict in Vrostheim: a house from that mod overlaps with another from this one...

      "Northern encounters" places a house directly in front of the door to VrostBites and Drinks in Vrostheim (some objects around the house also find themselves inside the ice walls). Here are screeshots with and without Northern encounters activated:

      Thank you for the screenshots Dwalin. I am afraid it is not possible to make a decent patch for Northern Encounters. It is more than just simply moving a building to another spot.
      EDIT: well, I'll give it a try anyway. Who knows.

      Load order of my mods doesn't matter at all. Perhaps some LOD of my other two mods don't appear ingame.

    Firstly, many thanks for your works!

    And secondly, I have a question about compability: does Rigmor (both, Bruma with Cyrodiil modules) and Unique Border Gates not conflict with this mod too, as Bruma or Arnima, for example, from your sticky post? And maybe with Haafstad and the Border of High Rock same question. I didn't start playing in Folkstead yet, but I hope what Hag Rock Redoubt works normally with ALL these mods. And other modified ways.

      Hi,

      I am not sure about Rigmor, but the last time I checked (two years ago) there were no conflicts with Unique Border Gates and Bruma.
