This is an updated version of my Magic Perks Teach Spells mod from the original Skyrim. It is a mod that will teach you the relevant spells when you put a perk point into a Novice, Apprentice, Adept and Expert perk in one of the five magic trees, Alteration, Conjuration, Destruction, Illusion or Restoration.
For example, Apprentice Alteration will teach Magelight and Stoneflesh, and Expert Illusion will teach Invisibility, Pacify and Rout.
In this new version for Special Edition I have made it so that DLC spells (such as Conjure Mistman from Dawnguard) will be taught, as well as vanilla spells. I have also added an optional version which will allow Master spells to be taught, for those of you who cannot be bothered with the Master level quests.
Lastly, as with my old version, I have added a version which supports a good magic improvement mod, as the vanilla magic is very poor, in this case I have gone with Full Magic Scaling by ilovecarpet.
Versions
This mod comes in four variations:
- Vanilla
- Vanilla with Master Spells
- Full Magic Scaling
- Full Magic Scaling with Master Spells
Obviously, if you choose either of the Full Magic Scaling versions, you will need to download it from the link above.
Now also comes with support for the Bound Shield mod. It will enabled Apprentice Conjuration to teach Bound Shield when picked. Choose the appropriate version in the FOMOD installer, Vanilla or Full Magic Scaling. The files are also named appropriately for those of you installing manually, and are found in the esps folder.
Compatibilities and Load Order
This mod will not be compatible with any other mod that directly edits any of the Novice, Apprentice, Adept or Expert perks (and Master if you have chosen that version) in the Alteration, Conjuration, Destruction, Illusion or Restoration trees.
Using another mod which alters the same perks as this mod will cause the one last-most in the load order to overwrite the other.
If you are using a Master Spells version, the -MasterPerks.esp file should be loaded after the normal esp.
If you are using a Full Magic Scaling version, make sure the Full Magic Scaling mod is loaded before Magic Perks Teach Spells.
