is it safe to flag your mod as esl in sseedit? or maybe you can make a esl patch? I really want to use your mod, they both look amazing, but I'm close to my plugin limit ):
I feel like I was able to run Rudy88 Eslify's xedit script to work some esl magic on Whisper and Echo and they seemed to behave and function properly in my game, I obviously made sure I did this prior to the save had been started as I do at least know in my low level knowledge of modding not to take a plugin and esl flag anything mid save
But I "think" it should be safe enough to do on a new save or if you haven't installed them yet on your existing save. I think I tested it myself once before just leaving it in just to make sure they seemed to function properly first tho.
I experimentally have done similar to several other "vanilla like" followers as I'm a bit of a follower hoarder. I've left more complex custom followers alone as to not risk breaking anything with them.
In sseedit, you can run a script to know which mods can be turn to esl by compacting the formid and when a mod can't be esl, it tell you but me too i try to be careful but if i can esl and i know it is safe, i need the esp space. lol
Same, my modlist is a chaotic mess full of way to much. I was in the middle of trying to "refine" it and remove some things but somehow I haven't managed, and i'm punching way over a comfortable limit lol. mostly due to my lack of knowledge in fine tuning and optimizing what I've got in place. So I know the struggle of trying to squeeze in a few more followers all to well.
Very late reply i know but I was walking near the location of whisper and echo camp and I got a ctd. I changed the mod back to normal esp because I flagged it as espfe/esl and the ctd stopped so it is a bad idea to turn it to esl/espfe. Just a warning for everyone.
I'm in the midst of trying to see if I can change their body types but I did want to add, that when I approached their camp I didn't get a ctd, at least during the few times I did some location tests checking for conflicts , I haven't tried recently however as I've only just gotten back to tinkering with things after not touching my load order for almost a year.
I hadn't realized whisper was built off cbbe(forgot ) and I was trying to experiment with some different body presets and wondered why she looked a bit wonky, then i remembered she was using a cbbe body so my bhunp/unp base body presets were likely not agreeing w/her lol
Beautiful work! This is one of my must have Bosmer mods. Is there any way that you might be willing to upload a version without the antlers? I use Bosmer NPCs have antlers and that's not compatible with this.
and the horns are dragon according to all the canons... you may not have thought about it, but they are very similar to half-blood dragons... I think they could own dragon cries
