    Any chance to make a compatible version for Compass Navigation Overhaul? I use Less Intrusive HUD II with pastel map markers, but CNO overwrites it al, or uses it's own map, I don't know.

    is the intention that shape 136 is the same as 134? It was supposed to be a small house. This is particularly noticeable with mod Atlas Map Markers.

    Fuckin' beautiful! Any chance for compatibility with Customizable UI Replacer? That mod has compatibility with Less Intrusive HUD already, but obviously, these colored compass markers don't work with it.

    Could we have a version of your red skull texture but for SkyHUD users?

    Instead of in the Interface>hudmenu.swf file like it is for LIHUD2, for SkyHUD the compass markers are in Interface>skyhud>compassmarkerart.swf

      While that would be really easy to implement, I would need permission from the SkyHUD author before sharing it as that would alter a core part of their mod. Shame you can't just overwrite a single icon.

      I have been thinking about releasing a custom map marker and compass set that would be compatible with all the major HUD mods, but I need to get all the necessary permissions in order first.

      So unless you want to wait for that (could be a very long time, not a priority atm), and you know your way around JPEXS (GitHub link), you can simply export the skull icon from my mod and import it into the SkyHUD compassmarkerart.swf for your own personal use.
      It literally a 5 minute process.

      That red skull is in high demand. I've seen others talk about it on discords. Fingers crossed that a SkyHUD version is released... and a 360 Compass patch to go with it ;)

      Its impossible to modify that file with JPEXS alone. You need SWFDecompiler and that is 70$ or go dark route and even if u go other route its not as simple as that u also need to edit raw data inside file to change header... And especially not 5 minutes work. (maybe if u already done it couple times and have everything setup, but doubt it!)
      I wasted 5 hours last night , trying to get all assets, then the stupid gfxfontlib...
      Then i realized that it just can't be done from single mod , u need other tools, bsa edit to get original file, because skyhud/skyui  doesnt have needed icons inside file, so u cant replace and thats big problem. If u can't replace, then u have to replicate conditions in scripts that make original mod work, while adding replacing new icons with your icons..  
      At the end i gave up, will try some other ..year

      And last main problem in compatibility of this mod with SKYhud and SKYUI is size of fonts and elements. So, it just can't be used at all as overwrite because fonts in game go out of wack, words get duplicated, sneak icon gets broken its just a no go

      Lol..i figured out. Easy way. YOU can do it too.
      What u need (icons of your choice, make your own , get from somewhere else..your choice or you can extract icons from another swf)
      Main requirement:

      1.Compass Marker Resource (download from skyhud -> its in Miscellaneous files)
      2.JPEXS
      3.take compassmarkerart.swf from skyhud resource file and copy it to :
      mods\SkyHUD\interface\skyhud\
      4.open compassmarkerart.swf with JPEXS
      5.click shapes
      6. start replacing icons with icons u want. Right click on icon in shapes ->replace.
      once done replacing all icons u want , just click SAVE.
      Done.
      SkyHud draws icons from that file.

      +Addendum. Once u change icons any mod that is compatible with SkyHud will get this icons.

    Can I ask how you managed to do this conversion? Also if you could possibly do it for another mod? I personally prefer Syclonix's Natural Colored Map Markers (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/27503) over Pastel.

    Hi Archet,

    This looks like a very interesting mod. I was wondering though if there would be any way you (or me) can add in green dots (or blue, or yellow dots) on the compass bar at the top indicating where your friends and allies are? It may take some scripting work though since the compass would have to know the player's relationship rank with an NPC. A rank of 1 or higher would show the green dot.

    Would this be possible at all? Thanks for sharing this mod though Archet1337!

      Sorry for the late reply, but that is not something I am capable of pulling off. I am sure some script extender wizards can do cool stuff like that though.

      As a workaround, you can go with the Skyrim Radar Mod SE. It does what you are looking for, but as a separate UI element.

    Can this be used with Pastel Map Markers in order to have them in the map interface AND the HUD? I like using this mod for the HUD, but I don't want the world map to be in black and white. Doesn't match, ya know?

      Yes, that is in fact the reason why I made this mod. I was using Pastel Map Markers and wanted them to show in the compass as well.

      Glad you like it!

      I am not planning on making any other presets as of today, but that might change in the future.

      The changes were done in Sothink SWF Decompiler (google it) and it is really straight forward. Just load up the hudmenu.swf file and fill the icons with any color you like.
