It appears that Amazing follower tweaks erroneously sets the "Uses Stored Text" flag on its aliases without specifying a replacement "Display Name". This breaks SKSE's SetName function, which this mod uses, causing the NPC to have an empty name, which prevents interaction.
Alternatives to AFT:
Simple Follower Extension (ignore the "AE" label. This mod works for all versions of Special Edition, despite its name)
I just updated to the latest version and I still can't interact with her after initially recruiting her in blackreach. I read the mod description. I don't use any of the listed follower mods but I do use this one: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/24167. Last playthrough on version 0.26 I was running both mods without trouble. Now I started a new playthrough using a custom race ( maybe this is what broke it? idk ) and when I went to get her I ran into this problem. I updated the mod and the problem persists.
hearkbreaking conflct between heartbreaker :(. not just uilib.pex which heartbreaker appears out of date on, but some uilib swf files too. might just be that heartbreaker is just out of date and can use this mods updated files, will get around to testing tonight.
i did, and heartbreaker doesn't have up to date files, so its unclear if its fine to have them be overwritten. its pretty easy to test the heartbreaker mod so im going to do that tonight.
Not sure if its harmful or not since im not really familiar with script stuff, but the script from this quest mod seems to conflict with scripts from Skytweak.
I... did actually, way before i installed this mod, but as i said im not familiar with the scripts stuff, i didnt even know the skyuilib thingy is related to scripts even, also given Skytweak is a mod from LE that i ported myself, i found it strange that it has conflicting files with this mod. But taking from your response i assume its safe to let this mod overwrite Skytweak.
for some reason after i finish building her, her entire head disappears (shes still alive). I dont have any mod conflicts so im not too sure whats causing this lol
Not sure what to say. I followed the questline to the letter. everything went exactly as intended. This is the first time I've had a character mesh bug like that in my entire time playing Skyrim. Thank you for the input though.

Even on the dark elf's it goes human skull were can I fidn the elf skull
Edit: appears to be working just fine!
For some reason, the Elf does not want to put on any armor (even her own from the quest) if you give her money to buy rich clothes in the city.
