Hiya folks. How are you all doing? So it's been a year nearly since v1.3 and nothing happened since. Is the mod dead? Yes? No?, Maybe? Eggs? Fucked if I know honestly.
Thanks to a combination of learning more about modding, being a lazy prick, and FFXIV sucking way my life like a vastly superior usurper to WoW's MMO throne should do, s#*! didn't get done. So now, if anyone will ever read this, Imma update the mod. Yaaaaaaay(confetti noises). Whether or not I should just upload the new version here or make a new page is undecided. Hopefully with this new version I can address some bugs I've been meaning to fix but had to learn how to do first.
Also, with the CC update opening the sluice gates to inferior versions of s#*! already available to us(So much for not being already available mods, eh Bethesda?) I plan on creating a addon plugin that will make it so you don't need helmets for their warmth value if you use Survival(which is okay...but honestly just wait for Frostfall to appear when SKSE is not in Alpha). The warmth value from helmets will either be added to boots or chest.
So if you are awaiting an update with bugs fixes and s#*!, then you're in luck. Not going to give an ETA. That'll just pressure me too much and make me feel even more like a sack of shit.
An update to this mod is coming soon...ish. Hopefully. It will either be posted here as a new version or just put up as a new mod. In the case that it is just uploaded as a new one and not an update, I'll link the new page here and in the comments. In the mean time...

@katcher12, Dirty Harry has some advice for you: "a man has got to know his limitations". You might want to learn yours and not make reassurances you cannot keep.
So the author's last activity on this site was 06 October 2017, so I presume there is no update on the horizon? anyone have any idea what the bugs were that would have been fixed in the update?
I see that a sticky was made 10 days ago. Not having an ETA is making me iffy 'cause I'll need to force myself to come check the thread every few days (I hope I don't forget) but it's so good to at least know that this mod is not dead and the update is coming. Thank you so much for making this. It's such a simple mod, yet almost mandatory for me to have.
There seems to be a bug if you wear a light armor hood w/your heavy armor set you lose the bonus. Clothe hoods work fine with it but 1/2 the hoods are light armor

We're used to lackadaisical progress on all fronts.
Just get 'er done, and in a way that the jackasses at Bethesda can't upgrade out of viability.
