Oblivion Camera has now been ported to Oldrim by user request :-)

confirmed only the AE version of this mod works if you have AE version of skse. doesn't matter if you're playing special edition or not. i'm playing special edition but i got the AE version of skse, and the AE version of this mod is the one that works. if you have SE edition of the game but have AE version of skse, then you need the AE version of this mod. confirmed working for me when i got the AE version and confirmed not working when i tried using the SE version. hope this helps anyone else who had this problem :)

Thanks so much for this! I'm getting into modding Skyrim for the first time and saw this in a YouTube video and had to have it. Great work!

After all this time, this is still one of my go to mods, when using a new modlist.

    +1

So i installed the mod and it worked fine and decided it wasn't for me, but now I'm running into a problem where, despite the mod being completely deleted from my mod manager, I'm still being forced into first person exactly how I would be if the mod was installed. I've even started a completely new save and the problem persists. Any help would be appreciated.

Edit: I think I was finally able to figure out why this happened. It was from Better Face light that was causing my camera to enter first person when I spoke to an NPC despite the mod not being installed. It never did that before on its own. I just deleted the ini in my overwrite folder and it was fixed.

Another user has had a problem with incompatibility between Improved Camera and this mod if you look back through the posts section. I told this user:
Try switching "bSwitchPOVMatchCameraRotX=1" to "bSwitchPOVMatchCameraRotX=0" in the improved camera ini file. I think that could fix the compatibility.

They did not respond to my feedback but these two mods edit the same things in some cases. I know with other camera mods you need to turn off head tracking in this mod to get it to work.

well, i just start new game anyway. by the way, i using ostim, whenever i start a scene, it stuck in first person camera or freecam in oblivion fov since the transition between dialogue and animation too fast for the mod to return to normal camera. is there anyway to fix this

Does the sticky by tomcatmilk mean that if you have SE Skyrim and SE version of SKSE the mod won't work? That is what I have, and the mod doesn't work at all for me. Vortex doesn't throw any errors when installing and deploying and I don't have any mods that mess with dialogue or camera either.

EDIT: I didn't think it would work, but it appears I was right. I went ahead and installed the AE version of this mod just to see what would happen, and sure enough the mod worked. If you are running Skyrim SE and have SE version of SKSE, the AE version of this mod works. The SE version available in Files does not appear to work.

I cannot tell you just how much this mod improves the experience of talking to NPCs. Its such a simple yet heavily improved touch to the immersion. So thank you.

I'm pretty sure I found a bug if you're too close to a npc either in first person or third person when the camera zooms in it goes flying all the way into their head. No problem if you're far away but only if you're too close lol
