QUICK DESCRIPTION
* In Oblivion, Trolls can regen 2 points of health per second.
* In Skyrim, Trolls can only regen .5 points of health per second.
* This mod increases the Troll Race's AbTroll (health regen) ability to 2 points of health per second, making their health regen consistent with Oblivion.
DESCRIPTION
The Trolls in Skyrim look great, and you're first few encounters with them are harrowing experiences. However, I have always quickly found that they become low level enemies - which is odd, because they are often cited by the game as one of the region's more fearsome beast.
Rebalancing Trolls across leveled lists is outside the scope of this mod, however. Besides that, I'm looking to do a more vanilla-friendly playthrough - but I still thought that trolls deserved a buff. I did some tinkering in the CK to find a value I was happy with. Before uploading this mod, I popped up the old Oblivion CS to check the Troll's health regen in that game, and learned that it is the same value that
In Vanilla Skyrim, the Troll Race has a health regeneration ability that allows them to regen .5 points of health per second. In Oblivion, they can regen 2 points of health per second. This mod simply raises the AbTroll (the health regen ability for their race) to 2 points of health per second up from .5.
This shouldn't dramatically alter how you fight Trolls, and the vanilla balance (or, most likely, the balance of your modded setup) will be more-or-less intact, as this mod literally changes one record and doesn't even buff Trolls that much. But they should be able to hold their own a bit later into the game now, and your battles with them should be more prolonged. That's the hope, anyways. It's a very minor change.
INSTALLATION
It's a single .esl file, so it shouldn't take up a Load Order slot. Just use your favorite mod manager are drop the file into your Skyrim/Data folder.
