Stubbornness or not knowing that alternatives existed (like if they just returned to the game after a long hiatus) would be my guesses. Surprisingly, there are still people who continue to use FNIS and Nexus Mod Manager for similar reasons.
Omg where is registraaaaant!? So many really really kewl swords and greatswords are just unusable cause no scabbards. We really have a dire need of scabbard-makers. Even the amazing Draugr Weaponry mod has a dark shader bug on the scabbards making them not able to be implemented that seems to be unsolvable at this point. O, registrant, where art thou!?

You're loading the original mod after this one, which means the entirety of the contents of this mod are being overwritten. It should be the other way around, this mod should be overwriting files from the original JSwords. I assume you're using Vortex, just click "Manage Rules" at the top of the "Mods" section and make sure this mod loads after Jaysus Swords.
hey man, i realize this is a bit late but i hope its not to late...
the armor in the pic is... a pain
to my knowledge, its only available on a russian mod site so if you're like me and you can't read russian, you'll have to use google translate to try and get yourself an account to download stuff which is... challenging, to say the least. after download, the mod itself is also in russian so you'll have to somehow translate it yourself or use the meshes and textures from the mod and create your own armor mod in the creation kit
oh, and if all of that isn't enough, the mod is for Oldrim, not Special Edition, so you gotta convert all of that too XD
so yeah... getting it to work is a little bit of a challenge but if you want to try your hand on it, you can find the mod here:
I REALLLLLLY can't describe how much I love you for this! I have been begging for this in mod requests for 6 years and never even noticed anything like this! Thank you so much for making this mod! If you're going to do more, maybe take a loot at CL's Weapon Replacers? They're incredibly unique!...but no sheaths.
Just finished a wide range of testing! Yays! It works awesome and the sheaths really are well done!
