The main mod has updated to version 2.0.2, which is supposed to fix all of the HDT-SMP related issues that have been mentioned here. I am aware of the update and am setting things up to make an update here in the near future... just as soon as I know he's finishing making hotfix updates. I hope to have an update this weekend - stay tuned.

There was another minor update on the main files for this. A single file was missed, but that has now been dealt with. v 2.0.3 has been released with the fix. Kill well, my friends.
Here is a fix for those who are using HDT SMP. Remember to load after Sithis Armour.esp and Sithis_Armor_Requirement_Patch.esp (so install Sithis Armour SE v2.0.3, >> then Sithis Armor - Special Edition - Mastercraft Edition >> and after that this fix)
Doesn't show up in the forge at all. I have smithing, light armour, heavy armor, one-handed, archery and two-handed all at 100. Do you need to start the DB questline for it to show up?
As stated in the description, in addition to all the skills you mention, you must also have completed "With Friends Like These" in favor of the Dark Brotherhood. Only once you have joined them can you use these armors.
hello, i just downloaded the mod and when i wear the heavy sithis armor the steal from the torso "peels off" from the armor when i walk, any suggestion?
You may be better off reporting that on the main mod - I changed some requirements and redirected some textures, but I did nothing with the NIFs themselves. If this is a problem, it's more likely to be from the source files than anything I did, I'm afraid.
Remember - I didn't make the meshes with this one. I did a few texture swaps and some xEdit records to do some compatibility. You'll need to take that up with the original mod's author. I have about zero skills with meshes and creating them.

My hoods seem to just make me bald with an invisible hood.
Edit: I found out this bug only applies to beast races
