In my current save the End Times MCM menu says "Days Played: 37.075386" but according to my general stats tab I've only played for 8 in game days*. From reading around it looks like I probably caused this by loading a different character without fully quitting out of the game. Is there a console command I can do to set the Days Played variable to the correct value or is my only option to just add 29 days to the end times timer? I'd rather fix the days played value so I don't forget a month or so from now and reset it to 365 days to "stop myself from cheating" but I can live with it if it isn't possible.
*this fits, as it's the 25th of last seed and the game starts on the 17th of last seed
Got a weird incompatibility for you, the alduin attack seems to make it impossible to interact with ordinator bear traps from the lockpicking tree completely invalidating that build
I thought there was no solution but I just remembered one. I mean I know what causes the problem, I disable world interaction to prevent people from evading Alduin by going into an interior cell....
anyway, just type enableplayercontrols into the console next time you have to find alduin.
If you switch between multiple characters this becomes super inconvenient. It would be a lot easier to just check/uncheck a box once per character and not have to worry about it again
Talking to mod authors shouldn't feel like navigating a minefield. I'm not specially talented or qualified in any way, I'm just some guy that occasionally screws around in the CK in my spare time.
There are multiple mod managers out there with profile features. I do not understand what the problem is. This mod is great and adds a level of drama to the game that was not there before, in a most glorious way!
Having read some of your other responses, I must point out for the record that your idea of being 'cheeky', in many cases, comes across as snarky and/or condescending.
At any rate, it's a great mod! I've added it to my 'must have' list.
Loving this mod as it gives a sense of urgency to the main quest. Can anyone recommend any other mods that I could use to progressively f*#@ up the world more and more as we near the end of time?
Then go into Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition and find the Skyrim configuration settings file and add under [GamePlay] bEssentialTakeNoDamage=0
You can add the [GamePlay] line if it doesnt already exist.
Note this will make EVERYONE killable. Expect a lot of broken quests. And dead companions. And cities getting emptied.
Then watch as the Draugr rip through the world while you wait for Alduin.
Note: You will have to hurry if you modify the .ini file. Depending on Draugnarok rate of spread and sustain settings, the draugr WILL eventually kill Ulfric and Balgruuf, which will block the end of the main quest. Also, add the Actor Limit Fix mod.
Is there a specific reason for the mod's default being that it runs the script every hour? I rather not be seeing the world will end warning pop up every hour.
Oh, this is the mod I really need. Why didn't I find this for a long time? I haven't played the main quest all the way to the end for over 10 years now. Only once in Xbox when Skyrim was just out. Now I know that I didn't need cool weapons and armor, a beautiful landscape, exciting quests, a modern combat system, Bijin NPC, or Flower Girl. All I needed was a deadline.
This worked perfectly as a capstone for my playthrough, I set a fight against Alduin at the 100th day, managed to finish Warden of the Coast with only a single day to spare and got back to Skyrim just in time to face off against the World Eater with all the companions I earned from all the various quests I went through.
Only weird thing is whatever happened with the weather at the dawn of the final day completely messed up my visuals, it was just an unplayable mess of bright swirling colors everywhere. I imagine it must be a conflict with my weather mod somehow - I play Skyrim VR and use Azurite Weather. Anyway, I just used the console to force a different weather and fixed that for myself, but do you think there could be an mcm option to disable the last day weather ?
Looks like something else was broken about my modlist that only revealed itself on that last day then. I tested it out by loading up an earlier save and spending the day sleeping in instead of desperately racing across skyrim to gather my army, and all was indeed fine weather-wise. Thanks for the help !

are you exiting the game completely when switching between characters? all sorts of script cross-contamination can happen if you don't.
I might include this as a feature next time I put out some big update, whatever and whenever that will be

nothing will go wrong, unless you use a lot of script heavy mods in which case it might miss a ping here and there

Either way, thanks for the mod !
