IF YOU CAN DO THIS, make it so they're not on platforms, but they're "alive" thru magic, and you and the person you're betting against are watching tiny little people fight a battle thru "magic" and "dolls" and s#*! or whatever. I wonder if that's possible (what I hoped it'd be at first glace)
I remember... I started Warhammer in 1994 (with the Space Marine Game/Epic System. Or maybe was it in 1989 with Hero Quest, i can't say for sure :D). Gave up on it in the mid 2000's. Not only did they manage to sell plastic the price of gold, they managed to make enticing rulesets a total bore over time. (Why did you remove all the funny special rules for my snotlings chariot?)
Still, this makes me nostalgic of the times when it was great. I can tell how this mod is incredibly well made. And i still have a massive army of Undeads in the boxes just next to me :p (was it 10 000 pts?). Even now, i would probably go back to it if it started to make sense again. Although i know it won't. I have lamented the dumbing down consistently for sooo damn long. If i were to install this wonderful mod, i would end up raging, ranting and desperating again while playing Skyrim ^^.
PS: Oh boy, that is WAY too well done. If you implement something like the 2nd Edition with Warhammer Magic, you have a player :D. Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy... I just turned 42 ! What are you doing to me?
me too I'm stuck with the magnified vision spell, even during a game where I didn't learn the spell, when I open a menu the sight turns on automatically and doesn't go away
gutmaw I installed this a while back and I've loved it so much that I had to stop back in and share. Every time I show off my current Skyrim build, your mod is a highlight. Most of my buds are old skool geeks; many of whom played D&D with me since our HS days of old. This always results in a "Wut? No wayyy! That's freaking awesome!" moment. Well done, sir. Please consider adding more to this! And If I may be so bold as to recommend a small add-on; how about an eazy-cheezy world space dungeon comprised of nothing but a bunch of monster spawns that match monsters present on one of your board game scenes, with basic "door" to the dungeon that activates by clicking on the board map? It could literally just be a single, flat, small new world space with nothing to do but fight some vanilla monsters from the map and folks would still eat that stuff up big time! It would be like mixing the old Dungeons and Dragons 80s cartoon to this already wicked mod.
I'd love to see more tabletop related tavern games, wargames or otherwise (wargames would be preferable). Wouldn't be surprised if they made Elder Scrolls Legends baked into it, much like Gwent with the Witcher.
Just an idea for something like this. Legacy of the Dragonborn Hall of Natural Science. The general idea is perhaps to shrink down the animal displays to go along one wall and be shrunken down in size opening up displays for the plant like ingredients, creatures, and perhaps even player home mods. It generally would allow more of a variety of displays and have more room for said displays as well.

I have looked it some inns and not found any and I just want to check to see of the mod works as intended for me.
I take it that means I'll have to miss out?

Maybe under Microsoft's ownership though...
