It is excellently done, props to Artsick for a single-edged weapon! And on the subject of the sword's classification - a falchion is typically larger actually, at least towards the tip as design of a falchion is to combine the chopping weight and ability of an axe and combine it with the thrusting and maneuverability of a sword. Considering this is an Elven falchion and the Elder Scrolls besides though, I don't have any complaints about the naming convention. Good question though.
In response to you both and anyone else who might be wondering, I've left a note at the bottom of the description about how this sword came about and I can tell you now that functionality and realism was the last thing on my mind lol. I didn't plan any of it beforehand and so when it was done I wasn't sure what to call it and after looking up different single-edged weapons it seemed like a falchion was the only thing close enough. Other things were thinner or with more curves.

Edit: I meant to comment that on the LE Version
