    It is weird that nobody has really done this one yet...

      There are other mods that cover it, just not many dedicated to this one door. This is not the best option on Nexus and I use other mods over it such as Haladoon's Retexture Project, but it's easy to access/find this way.

    Im a little confused as to why it says 4k when the difference between the vanilla at 1k and this at 4k is extremely minimal at best?

      It's upscaled, not actual 4k

      Because the texture is 4096*4096 pixels. It just doesn't look good because it's only AI upscaled rather than redisgned from scratch.

      @ClearanceClarence.

      So "I can do better"? You came here to piss all over someone else's mod?

      Right, like I would have any gain from posting an image of my results when I did something similar :P

      I downloaded this to check it out in game against Ruins Clutter. I had previously used Haladoons but found Ruins Clutter to be of superior quality. Having done a comparison in game I will stick with Ruins Clutter. Thank you however for making an attempt to better a texture. I am always looking for anything to improve the visual quality of my game play.

      Woah, chill. We're all friends here he was just trying to do the same thing as me and fix this horrible looking object in-game.

    Trying to use this mod's diffuse (ruinspuzzledoor01.dds) texture with Underground's normal map (ruinspuzzledoor01_n.dds) and will see how that goes.

      I might check the permissions for that mod and see if I can upload that as an alternative. I tried AI upscaling the default normal too but it broke it, and I decided to just stick with default.

    I think there's an amazing mod that starts with "Ruins" and ends with "Clutter Improved" or something like that.

      I have it. I have underground. I have numerous texture overhauls and it still looks terrible. The best mod for this particular texture is an Oldrim one I got a while back, but it's still not great and as it's for Oldrim a lot of SSE people may never see it.

      And this mod : Haladoon's Retexture Project ?

      edit : I find your version a bit smoother than "Underground - a dungeon texture overhaul" but still a bit fuzzy. So I don't see any real improvements, sorry. :/

      My version really isn't that good, it's just a mild improvement. I personally use Haladoon's it's just that some people might not know of it since it's on Oldrim section so I wanted to make this a little easier to access for SE users.
