Version 1.4 is up, by a freaky coincidence almost exactly 2 years after the initial release of the SE version,.
It is a port of the newest and final 1.4 version for LE. By now, you should all be using SKSe and SkyUI, so MCM works fine, no need for any silly config powers.
My huge thanks to Dreifels and mcguffin, who helped me with translation process, which halted the porting for two days. Turns out that even here bethesda made a few annoying changes that we had to take care of.
Aside from bugfixes and patches for mods that now have SE version, I consider this to be the final version of Rotmulaag, a mod I have spent waaaaaaay to much time on.
I don't know if you're interested in Skyrim fanfic at all, but I wrote something that was very much inspired by this mod among others. If you'd be interested, it's here: https://archiveofourown.org/works/14431479?show_comments=true&view_full_work=true
Yeah, if you're just looking for the improved meditation feature this mod provides, Stormcrown is a good/better alternative or if you're looking for the features of this mod with some upgrades to vanilla shouts or other features surrounding vanilla shouts then Stormcrown is a much better mod to use. But if you want to use a mod like Thunderchild that adds more to vanilla or if you just prefer changes made by Forceful Tongue then this mod is your best bet since Stormcrown isn't compatible with mods like Thunderchild or Forceful Tongue but this mod generally is.
More doesn't mean better, man, the shout skill tree was an unnecessary addition that pretty much only serves as a way to make you even stronger without real balance 💀
I need a bit of help, if that's possible. I didn't know I had to talk to Felldir after the battle against Alduin, so I just returned to Tamriel. Now I'm unable to meditate on the word Joor. I read that you're supposed to receive a letter from Esbern; didn't get that. Also, since I've JK's Skyhaven Temple, I couldn't find Felldir's Memoirs in there. I added them to my inventory using a sort of AIM, but reading the book caused nothing; note I already knew Call of Valor at that point. Tried adding Esbern's letter from the mod as well, but it was empty aside from the word "Dear". If I've broken the mod somehow, could someone point me to the console command which will let me get that meditation power so I can complete the questline? I'd be forever grateful.
He’s just asking for a newer showcase video, it had nothing to do with the description. Lol what’s wrong with that? Plus, don’t really see why not since the videos in this page are private for some reason.
I have to say I adore this mod, the voice acting is perfect and the little writing animation as we take notes during the meditation is well done, I set a tent up near the word wall and spent 3 game days with Paarthurnax and would meditate a while, eat, sleep and do it again. His voice is so soothing to listen to Mike did a fab job.
