This is the best jumping mod out there, exactly what I have been looking for through my entire playthrough. It feels the most natural and I love the sprint roll options. Great work!
Great mod but could use an update. The animations sometimes break when jumping rapidly and frequently forming a tpose like shape. also when jumping up rocks it can reset the animation mid jump and it looks quite strange. sometimes when leaping over objects the animations get stuck and you will slide across the ground while standing still. Keen to see more from this mod in the future!
Big improvement over the vanilla jump but is there a way to take out the sprint jump? It doesn’t look bad, I just really like Parkour in Skyrim’s sprint jump and I wanted to use the two mods together
hello there fellow travelers! has anyone found a fix for the camera stutter when jumping from sneak? with this mod? i hope someone does. thanks a lot. in advance.
I'm pretty sure it has to do with the animations used from Jump Behavior Overhaul- I was having that exact issue with that mod, even when I had the animations only version. No idea how to fix it, unfortunately... But if anyone has a fix, count me in too.
Edit: I was thinking, since this uses Dynamic Animation Replacer it's probably easy to DIY, and I was right!
Instructions
Uninstall and remove the mod, then manually download the "no heavy armor" version.
Unzip, and navigate to "\Data\meshes\actors\character\animations\DynamicAnimationReplacer\_CustomConditions\7009".
Open "_conditions.txt", and delete the second line ("IsWornHasKeyword ("Skyrim.esm" | 0x0006bbd2)").
Add "IsWeaponDrawn()" as the second line (or skip step 3 and add this as a third line, if you want no heavy armour roll).
Save the text file.
Zip the folder "Subtle Jump_1.3 (no heavy armor roll)" (inside the outermost folder - you can also rename it first if you'd like).
Drag this into Vortex or however you normally install mods.
All we've done is add a drawn weapon condition in lieu of (or with) the heavy armour condition, to run the no-roll animations.
I hope it's not a faux-pas or something to suggest editing mods, but this is pretty simple and noninvasive so I can't imagine anyone would be bothered. Make sure to endorse this EXCELENT mod here on Nexus. It will no longer be linked to this page within Vortex since it's edited.
