Hi there Shad0w, I want to thank you for porting over some of my grandfathers work to Special Edition. I wouldn't ever be able to do something like that as I lack the know-how, so I'm happy that more people will be able to use his mods.
I check the nexus occasionally to read all the nice comments people have left and it makes me so happy to know thousands of people loved his mods and are still playing with them to this day.

    Thank you,
    Tyler

It's my pleasure. He did great work and it deserves to be out there. I've used at least one of his mods on every game he uploaded for. I just want everyone to be able to use his mods.

It overwrites one ELFX nif file. Not sure if it's compatible.

    Hi !
Your mod look really great, with the new lighting mod Lux it's a save eyes :P
I would like to know, there are 4 textures that are used a lot with Lux and that are not taken into account by DUST, to give an idea that gives a kind of smoke not very pretty coming from light particle patch when it is in motion : https://imgur.com/MfMkBnk
DUST in dungeon look really nice

So my question is, is it conceivable to have a texture as pretty as the others for cloudtile, cloudtile_dim, cloudtilelight, cloudlight_dim pleaase ?
Sorry for my english, I'm using google translate

Meshes are still NiTrishape and would probably benefit from a BStrishape conversion to make them fully compatible with the Special Edition.

I mean I've never had an issue with how they are now. Any serious benefits to converting the meshes?

We can't control the intensity of the particle via enb, the dust look very cool but we can't change the brightness, example here :

If converting the mesh has benefits then I'll get around to doing it, doesn't look difficult from what im seeing

I had no idea he passed away until reading this, his mods were of the HIGHEST regard and quality back on 32 bit Skyrim and i'd gladly re-download these again in memory of him now that they have been ported (just going through a STEP install which is taking a while and got to these). Condolences.

Hey there. I've been downloading all the Ramccoid mods as you bring them over to SSE. Any plans to bring over Oil and Dandelion Seeds? I've already installed the Oldrim version, but no doubt others would love it if those mods were brought over to SSE.

I thought about bringing Oil and Dandelion Seeds to SSE myself, but I feel you've already started converting Ramccoids mods and you might as well be the one to convert them all to SSE.

Thanks for bringing them over. Without you doing this I never would have known about Ramccoid. Sounds like he was a good guy and a good grandpa. Sad to hear he passed.

Is this different from Dust Effects by HHaleyy? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2407

Yes it is. Dust effects was actually a very bad port which doubled the size of the original mod and packed the mini textures into a bas file which is extremely unnecessary. This mod also has different looking textures and 4 different quality options. I actually like this mod much better which is why i brought it over.

Wow, I never knew this - downloaded the SSE conversion of HHaleyy's Dust Effects a LONG time ago and never thought of it since. Wonder if it's messed with my FPS.

Probably. If you want to use Dust Effect just pic up the oldrim mod and convert it yourself in Cathedral Asset Optimizer. The SE conversion is fps draining but the oldrim version is good. it'll be the same as the 1k version of this mod fps wise.

Remove that plugin its packed unnecessarily and it only covers textures for dust motes(3) ENB particles and this mod will just replace this so don't waste a plugin spot even though it can be re-flagged as the plugin is blank and contains no records. (loose will overwrite any packed files)

If you just want a similar look to Dust Effects just drop into the Data> textures> effects folder from this mod save time. ; )
      dusttiny.dds
      dusttiny_dim.dds
      dusttiny_dimmer.dds
But you'll be missing out on all that this mod offers as its the most rounded mod of its type. : )

Thanks for the conversion! Any ideas if the mesh apply fixes from Particle Patch for ENB?

This will replace the dusttiny.dds that is used by the Particle Patch, I would let this overwrite or you will see (cough!) the dust motes.

    nice thing.
Now i see the old Dust Effekt esp is just a dummy for the bsa...
So i can just extract the BSA of my big Merge and overwrite the old one ^^

nice thing ! thx for work !
