If anyone is still unsure what this file is, it is a sculpt, easily used with RaceMenu sculpt. You put it in SKSE > Chargen folder (not the presets folder). Then load it via the sculpt function. There will probably be a neck gap if you don't set the body to 0 weight before loading.
It is a very good basic starting base for Bosmer female and definitely symmetrical.
I still use NMM for my mod manager. This is a manual download, so I downloaded it. Then I went to NMM and clicked on add mod from file (found in the upper left-hand corner under the plus sign). It added this file and automatically placed it in the body, face, and hair section.I then activated it.
I went to start a new game, chose wood elf, and it was number 9 on the preset slider. Then I went from there.
Hope this helps
I will post some pics as soon as I get done fixing her up. As soon as the author approves them, that is
In the meantime, here are images of what she looks like
Outside of changing the eye color and brows, I made the mouth a little smaller in width, and that was it.
Body, face and hair mods that I use, besides this one are: Bijin Skin for UNP UNP Blessed Brows - Hvergelmir's Aesthetics Empyrean Warpaints Improved Eyes High Poly Head (off-site) KS Hair Expressive Facegen Morphs Expressive Facial Animation - Female
Where do you place the mesh? I've checked the mesh folder of the base game and the bsa file of RaceMenu, but neither of them have a mesh with this name. The closest is the FemaleHead.nif mesh in the base game, but it is used by all human and elven females, not just Bosmer.
I'm beginning to think that this mesh is only intended for new races, where in the plugin you set up the race to use this mesh instead of the default FemaleHead mesh.
I have definitely noticed this, and couldn't understand how I kept making the same weird mistake in sculpt mode. Thank you for figuring it out and fixing it!!
