I wish i knew, i have never had that error with LOOT so i can't really say, from what i read i don't think it's anything to do with the plugin, seems like a LOOT issue/bug as you mentioned, the plugin only places 2 azuras moons in tamriel, that's it
Updated from the old file and happy to report they work perfectly! Tested with various animations including Pray power from Wintersun and A Skyrim Kiss. Thank you!
I don't know why, but LOOT complains about new Optional .esp: "cyclical rule for load order: A should be below B and B should be below A". But LOOT doesn`t complain about Main .esp
well you should only have 1 esp for this mod, make sure there is only one esp in your data folder, just install the main version for now, i think i will have to make the optional esp completely from scratch, not sure how things work, i didn't do the optional from scratch which now i think i should have , and i think it may be causing crap, i hate that, i will sort it out
I can`t have more then 1 esp. in my data folder, because they are called the same (optional and main). I didn`t rename anything, only overwrite. LOOT even refuses to do anything with this optional esp.

I adore these weapons, and I'd love to use them, but I'm getting a CTD whenever I have them equipped and use the Pray power for Wintersun. Will be tracking for updates!
I know about the CTD, i'm not sure what's causing it, i know it happens when using crafting stations and obviously you've come across a CTD too, i may see about using a different mesh, see if it's a problem with the mesh i used.
sorry for late reply, must be the mesh, any other weapons/staffs i've done don't cause CTD so i'm guessing it's the mesh. My game kept crashing until i sussed out it was this which was causing it.
Beautiful. Thanks for porting it over. Does the inscription cycle through periods of glow and dimming? Does it wound as an ebony weapon, or a Daedric weapon?

The CTD issue when activating crafting stations while weapons were equipped isn't an issue any more, different mesh, different textures.
