Hi. You should try my mod Remove or Optimize Precipitation, and download the remove precipitation option and delete the files with rain in the name. It looks like the texture is fxsnowsub.dds based on the snowflake shape. I looked at the nif -- dds file from file associations mod, I did a ctrl+f searched for the name of the texture and found that it was used by those meshes:

      meshes\effects\fxambsnowblowinglg.nif
      meshes\effects\fxambsnowblowingskylight.nif
      meshes\effects\fxambsnowblowingsm.nif
      meshes\effects\fxambsnowblowingsmint.nif
      meshes\effects\fxcameraattachdust.nif
      meshes\effects\fxcameraattachemberssnow.nif
      meshes\effects\fxcameraattachsnowfalling.nif
      meshes\effects\fxcameraattachupsnow.nif
      meshes\effects\ambient\fxambgentlyfallingsnow00.nif
      meshes\effects\trailerfx\fxcameraattachtrailer.nif
      meshes\effects\trailerfx\tfxcameragroundsnow.nif

I think trailerfx assets are unused. It's probably from the meshes fxambgentlyfallingsnow00 or fxcameraattachsnowfalling or fxcameraattachupsnow.

i tried using Remove Precipitation - High Compatibility since i have dyndolod and it did remove those annoying snowflakes but also the snow itself there is no snow falling from the sky

edit: i removed everything in the mod including meshes and sound except fxsnowsub.dds. it worked no more annoying snowflakes flying around me, i can't thank you enough for you help you solve my annoying problem thank you so very much😊

Thank you for this mod.  Does exactly what I wanted it to do.  No more big bright distracting snowflakes right on my screen during snow storms.

I'm guessing this will conflict with your other mod "Remove Blurry Snowflakes by Corsafire". If I install this first then overwrite it with "Remove Blurry Snowflakes", will it cause any problems?

Either way, great mods! I've been installing all of them just to get some more FPS and stability, thanks a lot!

I don't know what you are talking about. It seems like you installed my mod twice or you wrote my mod's name twice by mistake. If you are talking about Remove Precipitation, you can overwrite this mod. The texture file is the same in both mods so it doesn't matter.

Oops, commented on the wrong file and I probably could've worded that better. Yeah, I meant if there are conflicts between Remove Precipitation and Remove Blurry Snowflakes.

Guess I'll just use Remove Precipitation, thanks for the reply!

The idea with using the two files at the same time would be to use the "optimized" version with this overwritting it - I'm working on an installer and that'd be one of the options

when playing skyrim VR, seeing something that ugly fly across your face when you're looking at a nice snowfall is irritating, to say the least.

That, but I also wanted to provide a good source for those who used a similar mod from oldrim or from discontinued mods.
