New update focuses on visually enhancing and tweaking some textures. Most notable changes are that the stone wall now appears much less like a pasted on image, and much more like a legit material by removing the fake depth and opting for plastered cracks, and both the stone walls and floors of been brought closer in color, shade, and have both been darkened a bit to better match the rest of the houses. Other tweaks include stronger normal maps, and less gloss on certain wooden objects so that they appear less varnished and more crude. You can continue using the old versions if you wish, ultimately down to preference since no bugs needed to be fixed.
I liked the textures, but these textures cause crashes with Hlejarchen Farms and also the hall of the vigilants. it took me a few weeks to figure this out. The game kept crashing about 90% of the time when I’d go close to the hall. It would also crash after rebuilding the Heljrachen Farm buildings. It didn’t happen initially. I went through a round or two of building before it put up a structure that was problematic. It was okay when I was there. I was able to leave the area and return to Heljarchen Hall. When I tried to return it crashes 100% of the time. Too bad. I liked the look of these textures, but not enough to tolerate crashes. When I removed this mod, all of the crashing issues stopped.
I do have a request though. The wooden farmhouse pillar (woodpost02.dds ??) looks blurry compared to your wall textures next to it. Would it be too much trouble asking you to clean that up a bit? ^-^
Hi, I had to use your walls for the roads in. Since I didnt like the ivys in 3d stonewalls.. I am wondering if the fix in R's Farmhouse and Handcarts will make the ivy bright again?
