Do you use Moonlight Tales? That one has two versions for vanilla. One that use the vanilla form as a replacer that looks like vanilla called "Vanilla" and one, "disable", that use the form that your current vanilla form is. so this replacer changes the vanilla form so you need to use the disable option to use it. if you use vanilla it will look like the vanilla werewolf.
did you ever get this to work properly? my skin keeps changing back to vanilla after about 20 secs
Edit: I figured it out hours later ....it was another mod interfering I carefully opened in windows explorer through mod organizer and looked for werewolf files and found the culprit
@revelation68KJV Can you share what (which mod) caused it? I'm having the same issue. Did you just remove the other mod or was there some fix via load order?
For those looking to diversify Their Skyrim and not have every werewolf be an Apex predator I will leave the following steps:
I actually kind of got this working and figured I would share my finding on it. I will start by saying that in this particular test I was using vortex as my mod manager. I also have wicked werewolves installed.
my exact steps: download apex werewolf (in the plugins section in vortex find apex mark it light, it doesn't take up an esp spot then. This step is most likely not needed however I am putting my exact steps) download diverse werewolves after so that there is differentiation https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/7009?tab=posts&BH=0 DO NOT download the player only optional file.
How this works: apex is now the default werewolf so no need to change the player model, diverse werewolves overwrites that for the other werewolves so that there is now some diversity.
Side note: you may run into some other apex wolves due to the random nature of diverse I believe but not all the werewolves will be apex. View it as having some competition for the top of the food chain.
Necro to a comment on another page incase people don't see it - Moonlight Tales will "conflict". Just DISABLE the appearances with the ring. Go through the appearance settings.
This is amazing work but is it possible to make an optional player only file.I wanted to make TLD have his own unique look but applying this to everyone kinda ruins its uniqueness.
