Thank you for your absolutely beautiful Auri replacer, she's gorgeous! That said, while I love her look, I've decided I really wanted her to be slightly shorter and heavier. Unfortunately, while changing her height to .85 in the Creation Kit works just fine, changing her weight to 100 causes the dreaded neck gap. After much frustrated searching all over the place, this seems to be caused by a mismatch between the body and head meshes, the head mesh with Auri's beautiful face is sized for a zero weight body, and trying to get it to adjust to a 100 weight body causes your beautiful work to disappear. I can't help but notice in the Creation kit that while the full body preview of Auri shows her with the correct head, the head shot close up does not, and it's that second head that the game uses when resizing the head to fit a new body weight. I suspect that mismatch is the cause of the issue, if it was the same as the version of her you created, then it would use the correct head when resizing her to a new body. But I don't know, maybe that's not possible?!? I've tired finding a tutorial on how to make an NPC replacer, but all the one's I've found so are are either incomplete or for LE Skyrim. If you could tell me how to alter Auri myself, I'd happily do so! I'm just getting frustrated reading articles and watching videos online, only to be told to either use the LE Racemenu mimic spell, or not told at all how to get my character to look like an NPC character already in the game. So I finally decided to come to the expert and beg for your help! How do I adjust Auri's weight (in particular, though I'd love to know how to do so for any NPC)?!? Thank you for reading this, and for whatever help you can give me!
Yes, very well, I even know my way around outfit studio, can this be fixed in there somehow?!? (Thanks for the fast reply, by the way, sorry for not paying more attention!)
Awesome. So the easiest way to fix it is to generate a body that is thicc, even at a low weight and then replace the body from my mod with that body you generated. That way she'll get the thickness and you won't have to worry about neck alignment from changing the weight. Does that make sense?
Umm, I'm not sure what you mean?!? I already tried replacing the body in the Re-Imaged 3BA patch with my own 3BA body, and while that does allow me to make Auri's body match my other 100 weight NPCs, that doesn't fix the neck seam. It's being caused by the fact that the body is changing shape just like I want it to, but your beautiful custom head isn't changing shape (or rather size) with it to keep up. I need some way to make your head in the FaceGenData folder match up with my body in the "New Auri" folder, but I don't know how to do that... Thanks for your help!
As a few others have said, I'm also having an issue with the "black-face" bug. I've tried every permutation of installs/overwrites & merges (or lack thereof)/versions/load orders/etc that I can think of, to no avail. Other Auri replacers seem to be working fine. I'm running a current, modified Elysium Remastered (from Wabbajack) list, though I was able to get this replacer working on previous installs. Attempts include using v1.4 or v1.3 of Song of the Green, merging the replacer with main mod, installing the replacer separately, having both at the bottom of the load order and MO2 mod pane (SotG followed by Re-Imagined, obviously). To my knowledge, Elysium Remastered uses the 1.5.97 runtime, if that makes any difference. Oh, and every attempt I've made has been with a brand new character/save, nothing mid-run. Definitely my favorite Auri replacer, and I'm a bit bummed I can't seem to make it work this time. Any advice/recommendations/fixes would be immensely appreciated!
You must have something else editing her. You have to. Might be some kind of patch somewhere or something. I personally installed this in my new game and have Auri with my character and the mod is functioning as normal. Do you have the convenient horses Auri patch maybe?
Sorry for the delay, I got disillusioned with the rest of the modding after this didn't work. I have a brand new install of Elysium (v3.1.00), with the only additional mods being SotG and your replacer. Bottom of the load order, no additional patches for testing, and still getting the bug. I can't see anything actively overwriting your replacer, including in the "overwrite" folder. I'm thinking there has to be something baked into the mod list, but for the life of me, I cannot find it. The only conflict I can see is with Wintersun, but that's a quest-based conflict, not graphical, as far as I know.
Sorry, if you're using a mod lost you should always bring the troubleshooting to their discord or wherever they have support. There's no way I can know what they've added in a complex modlist like that.
I really love this mod and really want to use it but I keep getting black face bug on Auri. I dont know if its because I downloaded it mid game but when I try talking to her, the game just crashes. I've tried moving the original mod and this one to the bottom of my load order (last two) after reading some comments but still no luck. The only Auri mods I have are the original, this replacer, Auri inigo patch and auri enchaced voice. Does anyone have an idea what could be causing this bug?
Make sure if you're using MO2 that you have this below song of the green 1.4 and then try in the right column where your plugins are, having Auri and Auri Re-imagined be the last 2 possible plugins loaded and see if that fixes it. I've got no issues with Auri and this replacer currently. I even tried reverting back to 1.3 for Song of the Green, meeting Auri, saving and updating to 1.4 to see if it was an issue with updating mid game and she was still fine when I got back in.
Yeah from asking around, the majority consensus I have received is that the replacer works fine with the new update. Make sure that my replacer is below the original mod in both the mod pane and the plugin pane of Mod Organizer (or whatever the Vortex equivalent is).

Edit: Stock, non-replaced SotG also works fine.
