For me, the lance charge doesn't seem to do damage to targets. The lance strike will push them in front of me (though that might just be the horse charge feature), but not cause damage. The lance will strike with a normal attack after the mouse button is released and that will cause damage, just not the charge.
The lance is set at a reach of 1.71, with nothing overwriting it in my load order. The animations work as described. The player returns a negative energy amount when couched (-395 to -580, depending on the save file tested). The recommended papyrus settings have been made, with no difference to strikes in testing. Script latency sits at 80ms, tested with Elephant's script latency tester. Skyrim version is 1.6.640, downgraded from the latest. Convenient Horses was tested on versions 7.0 and 7.1
I tested this on an existing save, and two new characters, both, with both the original couched lance mod and the switched mouse button version. Nothing is altering the scale of the targets, their skeletons or behaviors, just meshes (fluffy fur). Convenient horses is loaded above this mod and both are at the bottom of my load order. Neither the scripts nor .ESPs have been altered in any way.
I have no idea why but this mod just doesnt wanna work for me, it briefly did on a prior save, but now it doesnt want to, the mod is enabled and time does slow when I charge a heavy attack whilst at full speed, but I just dont enter the couched position, instead swinging regularly with a pike or halberd, anyone got a fix for this one? :P
1. Horse armor from the Convenient Horse mod is not displayed 2. There are problems with cloaks when performing a mounted attack 3. This is not a bug, but it ruins the immersion - too much damage and the inability to turn off the time dilation effect
It doesn't require specifically Animated Armory so it loading before it shouldn't matter. It only requires a mod that adds weapons with length greater than 1.7, which animated armory is probably the most popular.
