literally does not spawn in my world. Nor is it craft able either. I've been to riften looked everywhere cannot find it. I've tried console commands "help van helsing 4" nothing appears. Ive installed the mod and uninstalled damn near 10 times.
Hey Templar! Thanks for the reply; I'm a fan of your work! I install via Vortex (I know a lot of folks prefer MO2, but Vortex works well for me). When I install, it says records from this mod conflict with records from Fort Knox. I'm afraid I'm rather new and not sure of how to verify which files they are referring to. (If anyone knows how I can find out, I'd be happy to do the work.) All I can say currently is that Vortex shows that some files conflict and wants to know which mod should load after the other.
Since Fort Knox is on its own world space, I'd guess a shared mesh or texture or script is shared by the two? I know FTKNX has its own modern weapons and such, so maybe the auto fire scripts conflict? I'm just pulling at straws here.
Well, as I see, they have 3 conflicting scripts. And they are probably not exactly the same. Can you tell me which are later edited and also maybe send me sources cause I don't want to download 4Gb Fort Nox without premium =)
I would love to, but I honestly have no idea how. I'm sorry; I'm a newb. I have a basic grasp on downloading mods and conflict resolution via LO and patches. The rest is still quite new to me. If you can walk me through which folders/files to look at and what to look for, I'd be happy to post it here. When you say "send you the source", what exactly are you referring to? A specific file from the mod download that shows what scripts its using?
(On a side note; I could also post this on the Fort Knox mod page and see if anyone there knows? I'll give that a shot and let you know what I find out.)
Alright. Let Fort nox overwrite Van Helsing Crossbow's files. Then press right click on Van Helsing Crossbow mod in Vortex and choose "Manage File Conflicts". Look at file conflicts and then open Fort Nox installation folder, find these files and send them to me somehow. I want to understand if there are some dangerous differences in scripts. Ofc you can also ask about it in another mod page.
I followed your directions, but I must be missing a step? I right clicked on your mod and pathed to Manage File Conflicts as directed. There are 3 script conflicts noted:
But the Fort Knox mod does not list which of its own scripts are in conflict with these. It just says:
"FortKnox_SE_AE_1.2rar(v1.2)(Default)"
It says the same thing 3 times, once in reference to each script line above. It doesn't show which specific 3 Fort Knox scripts are battling with these; only that they are located in "FortKnox_SE_AE_1.2rar(v1.2)(Default)". (I right clicked the Fort Knox mod in Vortex and clicked to show the mod in my folders; there is indeed an area for scripts, but I still have no clue which ones are battling yours. I could send you all of them if you like? I also posted in the Fort Knox thread as well, but no reply yet.)
Well, just send me scripts folder entirely then. And to clarify - Fort Knox has exactly the same files with the same names and locations. That's why they are called conflicts.
Ohh I like how it looks. But I was wondering if its possible to instal it without any scripts or extra functions. Just as a crossbow. I like the idea but I feel crossbows are too powerful in skyrim as it is.
Crossbow spell is applied ti your character when this crossbow is equiped. You have to press right mouse button and it will fire up to 6 bolts. Then you have to release the key and press it again.

This mod conflicts with Fortknox. Is it not compatible? If it is compatible, which should override the other? Thanks!
