Work in progress but 100 percent playable to end of quest and dungeon. Please, suggestions Welcome on spicing up dungeon. Did some things already, but feedback is needed and welcome. You will find Jebbalon to be an awesome follower.
You can change his name with the following mod:: Jaxonz Renamer
Step 1) Backup your save game in case you wish to uninstall the mod at a later time. Step 2) Download and install with your preferred mod manager. Step 3) Ensure the ESP is active (ticked)
Step 4) Enjoy!
Then wait for courier to give you letter.. Entering a store and leaving it accelerates this.
Good labyrinth, but too "one-type" as another dungeon's mods. I just kill the same (1-3 types of enemies) with every 2 minutes. Well... I have another new follower-healer at the end.
I'm a noob in both Skyrim/Elder Scrolls series as well as in modding, but so far I'm enjoying the game!
I have one question, though. In B4 (Shame), I'm a bit curious about the sealed room with 4 gates. I managed to find all the switches, but somehow the only the snake gate won't open up:
Also, the snake room is a bit weird because the switch is in plain sight, and one can easily jump to it without touching any pressure plates on the ground (which will trigger the two pillars to zap you).
Is this a bug, or am I missing something here? Sure, I can skip this and just proceed to B5. But my curiosity's killing me so I want to see what's inside that room before I proceed.
Thank you in advance for any response.
P.S. - I already did try looking up for guides/videos, but the one video I found skipped this entirely.
Nevermind, I got it now! To think that the actual switch is somewhere else. My one brain cell must've been really burned out to not notice, it took me a day of resting to realize that there's still an unexplored portion on the map where the real switch can be found (somewhere around the upper right).
Anyways, I'm already done with the quest. Jebbalon is a great healer/buffer! The only thing of concern is him constantly casting magelight on me which I don't actually need, and thus I find it a bit annoying especially when I try to take screenshots.
Hmm... Sorry, I'm not really sure since I'm totally clueless about creating mods and scripts, but if completely removing the spell/script from the Jebbalon follower then maybe limit him to using light on himself instead? (candlelight and/or stronger light spells) Or maybe put an option/command that can toggle this action? (for other players who find this feature convenient)
For magelight - is there a way to incorporate spells into MCM? Or just get rid of it all together? For the most part having magelight from a follower is not needed. For me I have another mod that makes magelight and candle light better and that mod plus jebb casting magelight is unplayable really. But overall he is just a cool follower!
I seemed to have lost my follower Jebbalon. I had him on "wait here" in my home. I was exploring a dungeon, he somehow teleported in and no idea where he is now.
Right! I have tried this, but I did not know the reference ID. I typed "help Jebbalon" and it provided me with a few different options. Bandit Lord (39000E7D) and Jebbalon (560342AC) neither worked. Is there supposed to be a different ID for him?
Toons just standing around in sot are normally fixed with a proper smashed patch or ssedit patch. and of course make sure your actor limit is raised to 99 either with my mod or manually in creation kit. Can also be done with wry bash.
Quick Question? , Does the Dungeon respawn? I ran through the whole thing without Jebbalon, He was killed by one of my other mods before I could get to him. Perhaps it would be better to have him wait just inside the cave. I had a great Dungeon Crawl anyway Hope there is going to be a follow up adventure at some point.
Of course enjoy Cyberpunk 2077 for awhile, I've plenty of unfinished content to widdle through. SoT and Genesis have great improved my Skyrim play throughs. Thanks for all the hard work you and the team do, I'll keep coming back for applicable additions.
Just completed the dungeon a few days ago. The dungeon was great, but the star of the show for me was the Jebbalon companion.
The way he dynamically stacked buffs and candlelight on the player during the lulls in combat was impressive. Most custom followers buff during combat but not before, which is suboptimal in my opinion. Jebbalon does it the right way (basically how a human would approach a raid boss), he stacks buffs on his party before the fight, so that during combat he can do more vital things such as healing, summoning, and actual fighting. Instead of crutching on overpowered statlines or abilities, he fights intelligently. He will summon a pet to spread damage and aggro when the party is outnumbered. If the player is dangerously low, he will prioritize healing to protect the player. He is basically a companion that always has your back.
Now as for the dungeon, the placement of what I would call the deep shrines was good and offered a bit of respite and supplies in an otherwise long dungeon crawl. I think adding a bedroll to these shrines could be helpful for survival players. In terms of loot, some of the equipment rewards need to be frontloaded a bit for lower level players. Right now the loot is too late and too concentrated in the final treasure room. If the player is appropriately levelled, the earlier levels have mostly unrewarding levelled loot. The lower level sets such as the blades set or the wolf set, should be made available earlier for player progression. Shrine rooms and trap chest rooms are good places for this.
I have more thoughts on combat but I will leave it for now. All in all a great beginning for the SoT dungeon series.
Fun idea, Skyrim could use some more old school D&D type dungeon crawls. What else do you have planned for it? Be fun to adapt old encounter tables and implement 'em!

How can I find out where he is, or get him back?
You will need his ref I’d.

Also - I'm seeing large amounts of enemies from SOT just standing around not attacking. Any idea if this is caused by actor limits?
the id is : 060342ac
