I've been banging my head against my walls trying to make a patch for Civil War Refugees, Justice, and JK's City Exteriors. All I've had to go on is basic CK tutorials I've found online, and decade-old youtube videos that were recorded with potatoes by some guy with a dubious accent and propensity for skipping around with ADHD-level alacrity.
I have been wanting to make a compatibility patch between Skyrim Underground, Skyrim Sewers and Skooma Wh**e since forever. I also have never made a single mod in my life.
Maybe after reading your guide I will know at least how to start. Downloaded the empty text file just so I could endorse. Many thanks.
This looks really helpful and detailed, I'd love to be able to make a patch for The Great Town and Ivarstead and Arthmoor's Ivarstead but it feels very overwhelming at the moment.
I've been learning to do some CR for my load order from guides I've been following like TPF, TNE, Lexy's etc., but I've always been scared of touching any Navmeshes when doing the patches, or opening the CK to do edits there... And this guide has been a godsend! Thank you so much for this, I can finally do all the crazy things I've been wanting to do with the mods I like!

I may revisit it in some detail later on, but treat this as a "something someone wrote when they've only been doing stuff for 6 months."
