Added a file to main download page for users of Bowgasm, and Nicoroshi Creations together. This removes all references to Tauriels, Lothlorien, and Rivendell bows from Nicoroshi Creations since they are also added by Bowgasm.
This will prevent the doubling up of items in game and on the crafting menu if you use both files together.
Just came back to Skyrim VR after a bit of a break and RL stuff. Very excited to have found your mods and can't wait to see them in game! It's talented people like you who take this game to the next level. Thank you for sharing your talent and creations with us! Endorsed just by seeing the pics!
Youβre welcome. Itβs amazing that these items (many of which were created for Oblivion originally) still are being enjoyed in peopleβs game. That makes this old man smile :)
I did update this mod with some of my more recent 2020 releases but will not be updating it further. IWBA does not require a plug in and I created a merged plug in called Bowgasm that has 14 unique bow releases in one .esp the replacer for bows with Bowgasm is like IWBA and does not require a plug in. the weapons I am creating now will be singular releases. I donβt know how many I will make and donβt want to continually update a compilation every time I make something new. For SSE I am releasing my mods in .esl flagged format so they are stand alone individual mods allowing the end user to decide what they want or not but also not using one of the 255 plug in slots for those with tight load orders. For players of SLE with tight load orders I recommend a program called MergePlugins.exe to create their own singular plug in with exactly what they want and nothing they donβt. This was the best compromise. It does require a little work from players of SLE but the program is simple to use and very effective. If you have a tight load order and can get everything to play nice in your game you can certainly use this easy program.
Since youβre posting this on the SSE version I am guessing you have Special edition and can use the .esl flagged versions without impacting your load order number and also retaining the ability to choose what you want in your game :)
oh man! i'm so excited you're making content again (or that i just noticed again...?)!!
the raven swords have been my favorite weapons since you first released them in 2012. those were the first mods i ported over to SE myself.
... and i've always had a question about them: is there a way to make the scabbard more black instead of purple? or is it just my lighting? is this a thing i can do relatively easily myself? (btw, i know nothing about gimp other than it can do that kind of thing.)
This is most likely the specular color on the blades. Since the blades and scabbards are using the same specular map which was created for SLE that hue didn't show up as much as it does in SSE. Use nifskope. Open the model in nifskope, and click on the scabbard. It will be marked scb Under that find BSLightingshaderProperty Click on it In block details window find Specular color, and click on that. move dot to make it white instead of the purplish hue it has. (#ffffff) Save model Be sure to also do 1stpersonRavenSword also.
Happy to help. now you can have fun with specular colors on anything in game. Basically itβs the color of reflected light off an object. I used this in the Fletching of my Orcish arrows (which are black crow feathers) to give them a blue/ green hue like magpie feathers have in light while remaining black. This effect while present in SLE wasnβt as noticeable as it is in SSE. These swords were produced for SLE originally which is why this color was there when ported to SSE. Have fun with the new knowledge. Many possibilities with lighting in SSE.
I am now using this with your amazing Bowgasm mod and it's amazing. Nice little perk, with both mods and the Purple glass mod you find 200 free arrows in the sleeping giant Inn rather than 100. I like it. LOL. Thanks Nico
It shouldn't They are just added to the cavern on the floor by the loot at the top of the incline. Doesn't change anything that was already there. Just adds the bows to the cave.
Looked up moss mother cavern on the fandom wiki page And found this>>>
Released v1_7 Adds Elven Leafblade, Rivendell bow, and Phats purple glass arrows. Also updates model for Lothlorien, and Tauriels bow to latest versions available. Enjoy
Youβre welcome. Be aware if you are updating from the single .esp versions you will lose those items in your inventory and have to acquire them again either by visiting their place in game or by crafting.
Recommend leaving any single esp active for items in your inventory you donβt want to re-acquire.
Also this mod does not include I want Better Arrows mod. That mod is a straight replacer of vanilla arrows and does not require an .esp I left that out so people could choose if they wanted to use it or not. Have fun Nico

Thanks to PhatBassAnchor for the idea.

Remodel it without the ring. or open the .nif and remove the scabbard
Otherwise it will act exactly like the vanilla versions of weapons with attachment rings.
That's how Ecotone Dual sheath is set up.
Examples of vanilla weapons with this same issue:
They are just added to the cavern on the floor by the loot at the top of the incline.
Doesn't change anything that was already there. Just adds the bows to the cave.
