Could you ESLify the Northbourne series?

I'm still getting that purple-haired female stormcloak soldier in the introduction and I do not know what is causing it. :(

Can confirm, the female stormcloak soldier 000CD6BD is missing hair textures. KS Hairdo's/Magnolias.dds and KS Hairdo's/Magnolias_n.dds

Can confirm I have the same problem. As far as I can tell the bugfix above seems to have solved the issue for me :)

I had a similar problem. Face Discoloration Fix solved it for me.

The load order of your esps must be the same as load order of the other resources. Therefore if you are also using for example pandorable npcs mod both esp and meshes and textures from Northbourne need to be loaded after that. Some mods are also giving armors to NPCs by directly modifying their records. The Face Discoloration Fix will help but it won't 100% restore the intended appearance, only remove the blackface. You can use the More Informative Console to find out what is editing the NPC and solve the issue properly.

It could be a mod conflict. If you send me a screenshot of the hairstyle in question I can double check for any issues on my end.

For anyone having issues with an NPC having no face except the eyes, mouth, and hair; I noticed downloading the old 1.2 file and overwriting with the 1.3 file fixed this issue. The face of Hadvar and the imperial lieutenant seems to have been missing entirely in 1.3 strangely. For the dark face bug, I've personally used Face Discoloration Fix SE.

i found an issue with the facegen of at least gabriella (0001BDB8.NIF). its not pointing to her facegen textures. this is an all vanilla screenshot. i cant remember if i gave her face tints or not in the fomod, but the textures are there anyway. this could be happening to other npcs as well.

Edit: this also is the cause for people reporting purple eyes. There are multiple NPCs from your series that have incorrect file paths to their respective facegen.

It's going to be a very large undertaking to change all of these. I believe the wrong file path is due to how Racemenu exports the head nifs. This hasn't really been an issue because the game seems to ignore the tint texture the facegen references and the engine automatically uses the correct one.

Odd thing is in my game and in the majority of of people's games the faces show up fine. It seems like only some people get the purple hue to the eyes.

I need to investigate this more.

I love your mods but can we get a vanilla hair version?

Nice to see this one get some attention again!

I know I brought this up a while ago (sorry), and feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but looking at the files it seems Thorygg (the Stormcloak commander) is still missing from this.

Besides that, keep being awesome; can't wait for the next one!

Hello! I'm so sorry if this is an obvious fix or covered somewhere else but I can't really find a solution - a few NPCs (for example Astrid and Nenya) have two different warpaints on their face and I know they're not supposed to have any at all...neither of them are being conflicted by another mod. Lucan Valerius had this in one of your other Northbourne mods but somehow fixed itsself when I realized I accidently installed both Riverwood and Whiterun overhauls (without realizing they had been merged - I'm dumb).
But I'm truly not sure what's causing it for others. Forgive my airheadedness, what do you think the problem could be? I haven't checked all the other places that Northbourne affects yet so I don't know how many others might be going overboard with their morning warpaint routine haha.

It sounds like you are using the "Face discoloration Fix" mod.

This mod isn't compatible with that. (Neither are any other Racemenu created NPCs replacers like Bijin or Pandorables)

That mod tries to regenerate Facegen when it detects a blackface bug. It doesn't work for custom sculpted NPCs such as those in this mod and when it regenerates their faces they are different and often messed up (i.e. different shape faceparts and odd warpaints)

Ohh, yup, turns out I am... I figured it was something on my end haha. Well, I got rid of it and it looks like that sorted the problem - thanks so much. (:
