Wanted to make sure you get the credit due. These are the best roads there is. I have tested them all. Thanks

The description says that this mod is safe to uninstall mid-save, but when I try to do so it causes all the roads to completely disappear leaving just the terrain under them?

The description also says to use an interior save. That also means to wait a few seconds before running outside.

I get the same result using an interior or exterior save

Ok. That may be related to the fact that uninstalling mods midgame is more dangerous than early.
In your case I recommend using fallrimtools scriptcleaner. If you use it correctly it will fix it. I will add it into the description soon.

All I know the road meshes are not compatible with particles. Especially high resolution ones from mods.
I have some ideas but I also have only permissions to porting not for other improvments.
But what you are talking about is an incompatibility of the SkyrimVR's engine to road mods with meshes because road is flat in all vanillas.

Real Roads is underrated for VR. Blended roads looks fantastic, but it's so bumpy when running around in VR that I feel like the game is stuttering when it's actually not. This mod keeps the 3D mesh but seems to have a lower profile so you don't bounce as much. Vanilla is rather similar in that way. There is another mod that gives you hi-res but completely flat roads that really makes things smooth, but I hate the look of it in VR.

This is the way! I swear Blended Roads and immersive or something, they make my eyes bleed in VR from that shimmering. But this is perfect. Lore and Enb friendly.

Does this version still cause Enhanced Blood's splatter decal to look like broken glass or was it ever fixed? Thanks

Edit: Switched to Blended Roads which fixed both the EB's splatter issue and uses my own road textures. Cheers anyway.

These are wonderful, thank you. I much prefer these to Blended roads, as they retain the vanilla look.

Nice, Thank You. My favorite from Skyrim is here officially. I have my own conversion for this, so i noticed this bit late... Dawnguard and Dragonborn patch is merged?

Yes, it's a port of the full DLC version. I will write it into the description.

I have to thank you. That are useful pics for showcase! Uploading images is now open for all users without verification btw.
But of course I may delete pics I don't want to have afterwards. But that should not often be the case, I think.
Myself I also make screenshots in png format, but then I convert them to jpg via gimp before uploading.
It makes the showcase more smoothly without any visible loss of quality.
An exeption are very dark screenshots where it should stay in png for best quality.

I use the superior open source ShareX software for screenshots.

Regarding HUD elements, I use Hide UI because of the missing further development of Immersive HUD.
There are papyrus log entries from that mod which I do not need.
Unfortunately also Hide UI doesn't receive developement, but it's very lightweight.
