"...There exists a story in the nordic culture, that tells the tale of a great nord warrior of old, no one ever knew the true name of this man, but folk usually called him Verdant, for his might in battle was incomparable, being sturdy and strong as an Oak, but in person being kind and serene as the wind that blows the leaves, and thats how he got his nickname.
Verdant was a black haired nord, he had very long curly hair, his body was muscular but not very tall, always being a very friendly man, he made a lot of friends wherever he went in his journeys.
In one of those, during a mercenary job to recover an artifact from an ancient ruin, he met 4 warriors, that later became his best friends to the rest of his life.
Those were:
Erik, The Giant, an absurdly tall redguard.
Bernard, The Loyal, a long haired Breton.
Venancy, The Strong, an extremelly muscular dwarf.
Paul, The Smooth, a very pompous and polite redguard.
Together they went through every situation imaginable, from the worst, to the best, but always together.
One day, Bernard, in honor to the friendship and great person that Verdant was, decided to forge him an axe that would transpire the qualities of his friend, using oak for the grip, and a extremelly rare and strong metal in Tamriel, meteoric iron, a very sturdy metal that rarely falls from the stars.
And using his knowledge in magic, extracted an small amount of Verdant's living aura to the axe, blessing it with his qualities, now having the burning wrath of a dragon, the will and relentless of a sabercat and the mind and intellect of the flying eagles in the skies.
What happened to the group of warriors and friends after many years is unknown, the only fact that is know by the nord people, is that Verdant passed on his axe through his generations, until it was lost in time and passed to legend..."
Verdant's Axe features am upgrading style similar to Dark Souls.
(All upgrading is made through forges and anvils)
From +0 to +1 it consumes: 3 Silver Ingots, 1 Petty Soul Gem(Filled) and a Verdant's Axe +0
From +1 to +2 it consumes: 5 Silver Ingots, 1 Lesser Soul Gem(Filled) and a Verdant's Axe +1
From +2 to +3 it consumes: 3 Quickilver Ingots, 1 Common Soul Gem(Filled) and a Verdant's Axe +2
From +3 to +4 it consumes: 5 Quickilver Ingots, 1 Greater Soul Gem(Filled) and a Verdant's Axe +3
From +4 to +5 it consumes: 1 Centurion Dynamo Core, 1 Grand Soul Gem(Filled) and a Verdant's Axe +4
After reaching level +5, you will be able to upgrade the axe to its final form, in the forge you will be presented with the choice to bless the axe with one of those 3 paths:
Blessing of Wrath:
+25% One Handed Damage
+25% Armor rating
+25% Block rating
20 Fire Damage
Materials needed:
1 Daedra Heart
1 Dragon Scales
1 Fire Salt
1 Giant's Toe
1 Grand Soul Gem
1 Verdant's Axe +5

+15% Attack Speed in Verdant's Axe.
+25% Faster Movement
+50 Health
+50 Stamina
Better Critical Damage
Better Critical Chance

1 Slaughterfish Scales

1 Briarheart
1 Grand Soul Gem
1 Verdant's Axe +5

-15% Spell Cost
+10% Magic Resist

1 Verdant's Axe +5
You can only choose 1, after blessing Verdant's axe, there is no going back, choose wisely.
Verdant's Axe can be found in a Shrine of Talos, in a coast in Winterhold.
Take Look:
Copy the contents of the archive to your Skyrim\Data folder. Overwrite the files if asked to.
Then active the .esp in Skyrim's Launcher.
Or
Use a installer of your choice :)
