I know this mod is very old, however is their a way to make this compatible with JK's Skyrim AIO?  It would be the perfect edition.

      Hi!
I like JK's interiors but I don't personally use his exteriors. Therefore my mods are unfortunately not compatible with his. I did take a look at JK's Skyrim page, and it seems to me he has relocated the whole Breezehome? I'm not really sure how to merge my Breezehome with his Whiterun. They will share information like door markers and I'm not really sure what happens when two versions of the same place load up at once? I would need to delete his exterior and interior cells and replace them with mine and much could go wrong in the process.

You could always have a go yourself? CK is fun to play with. :)  If you don't know how to use CK, I have left links to some very basic info to another commenter. It's OK to change other people's mods when it's only for your personal use. If you managed to merge the mods, you couldn't upload the file on Nexus without both our permissions. You have mine, just leave a link to my original mod.

I must say, I love this mod idea you came up with and I loved using it in my current play through and I do hope to see more mods like this in the future!
Though I did hit a snag with the mod that it's not compatible with a mod I use that edits the kids bedroom +adds a new basement, the mod in question is [Whiterun Big Child Bedroom and a Basement] And I would like to ask to see if there would be a possible patch in the future?

Still I do like this mod. :)

Thank you! I'm very glad you like my Breezehome :)

I took a look at the Big Bedrooms mod and opened it in CK with my Breezehome. It looks like it alters much more than just the children's bedroom. The problem is that there is so much stuff there and it is all linked to the X-markers that trying to make my home compatible with theirs would be a massive undertaking. Therefore I suggest that you make the two mods compatible for yourself, yourself. :) Are you at all familiar with the CK? All you really need to do is open up the two mods together in CK, find "Breezehome" in the Interiors and then carefully delete all the furniture and walls that you do not want. Remember to press "M" sometimes to see the markers to not accidentally delete anything important (Or to delete the whole bookshelf and all of its containers (orange boxes) too, if you don't want it.)

...Or if it's actually just my tower that you like, you could always make your own? It's fun. :)
My 10-minute video offering a  ery fast first peek into the CK, if you have never opened it before.

I'm trying out this mod for the first time. So far loving it. I like the simple after so many ornate mods kept crashing on me. Curiosity question... was there ever a patch to add storage to the basement? Not a necessary thing was only curious. I will make sure to endorse it after a couple of days of use.

Hi! I'm glad you like the mod. I'm sorry to hear heavier mods were too much, though.

I don't think you need a patch as long as the way to the storage is accessible. (I assume you have some specific storage mod in mind?) Just download the storage mod and enable it as usual. If you mean, could I make an addition that would offer more space, there already is one. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/18958?tab=description   I think this mod works with mine. :)

Firstly, I absolutely love the idea of this mod. I've been looking for something that adds a bit more space to Breezehome and also improves the main area of Breezehome without making it unrecognizable. However, I have a few issues with this mod. For starters, I have a "frozen kettle" in the main hall that I can't pickup. I also have "Show Iron Sword" and a shield on the wall in Lydia's room. They both have pretty bad texture errors - I think it's Whiterun's flag on them? Either way, disable and markfordelete both don't work on these items.

I dont have any other mods affecting Breezehome.

      Hi!
Thank you for your comment. I'm glad you like the house in general.

The "errorrs" however are not errors. XD The frozen kettle is your magical 'fridge. Why lug blocks of ice to your house when magic exists? just enchant a kettle/something else and hey presto! You have a freezer/refridgerator. That is also why it is in the kitchen area.

Lydia's wall decorations are experimental. XD Yeah, they don't look supa-fine but there they are. I figured that she would be as committed to Whiterun as she is to her Thane, and so she has a special, flag-wrapped weird sword-shield ornament on her wall.

Try to bear them, please? :)

Considering there's Jenassa, Uthgred and half a dozen Jorvaskar followers, all located in Whiterun, it always seemed ludicrous to me that Breezehome had no guest rooms!

So many mods exist too, for setting followers home locations, but again, so few houses, even modded ones, really support this.

    This does.

I'm definitely coming back to grab it when on my pc not my phone.

Thank you! Of course, the original game was mostly about the Dovahkiin running around by her/himself but I have also been surprised that modders don't seem to add guestrooms. Anyway, I'm happy I could offer them to you. :)

I've already bought Breezehome and moved in. Can I still replace it with this mod?

    Thanks!

Someone else did, and all they were burdened with were items from the original laying about on the floor. I think you will have some mess to clean up but no bigger problems, since I have mostly pushed all of the original stuff I didn't use outside the cell.

Lovely home, but a few problems. After installing it, when I entered for the first time, there was items strewn all around the floors, presumably from the original version. Then Saffir walked in, went to my bedroom and sat down, is the house open to all townsfolk?. So far I haven't found Lydia.

      Thank you.
You know what? I never touched the actual cell info. If I were to build a house from scratch, I would absolutely un-tick the public area box but when I went to have a look-see in the vanilla Breezehome files, I found out that Breezehome is flagged as public area by the vanilla game. If you are surpised, so am I. I have had guards and townspeople sometimes come through the door with me ever since I first started playing Skyrim on PS3 in 2011 but no one actually ever came in to stay. They just said their lines and left. I thought it was just a glitch in the game. I can help with that by making the house private.
EDIT. Sorry to hit you with so much text. I'm a little worried that the house has been flagged "public" for a reason. I'll try to find out about it but until I know whether is was a dev oversight, I kind of don't want to touch it.

The house is the original Breezehome, it just has the tower as an addition. Lydia should find her way home. If you reloaded your game and told Lydia to part company before you checked out Breezehome, she returns to Dragon'sreach instead, but I'm sure you knew that. And if she is not there either, then I do not know where she could be. When I was testing the mod, I took Lydia with me when I went to Breezehome for the first time and only told her to "go home" after we were both in there.

The items... There should only be the vanilla mess and a puddle by the door when you arrive for the first time. All of the items, the ones I added as well as the ones that were already there are parented under "decorate x-room". That means nothing (but Lydia's decorations and the enchanting nook) should be there until you have bought it from Proventus. I tested the house many times and that never happened to me, which leads me to think it could be a mod conflict?

Do you have any mods that modify Whiterun? Housecarl behaviour mods?

Thanks for reply, Lydia has appeared now in Breeze home. I am running a few mods for Whiterun and for house carls but thankfully it's OK now.
Saffir wasn't interactive except to repeat a line about her child and needing somewhere quiet (I forget exactly). It wasn't the same as when you sometimes enter and drag someone in after you, they just say a line and leave. I was already inside and had been a few minutes when she entered. I get what you say regarding public area.
The items were all indeed vanilla, I had bought all the upgrades but never used it as I have a better home, I really like your mod, I just want somewhere to rest overnight sometimes and I have a couple followers, so it's perfect.
Thanks for all your effort, appreciated. :)

Yes, it's generally best to always start using a mod from a "clean slate". That is, install the mod before purchasing and decorating Breezehome for the first time. But if it was just a few things on the floor that you could pick up and clean, then perhaps it doesn't matter.

That's some other mod behaving strangely, that's making Saffir come to your home instead of going to her own. Well, I'm Lydia at least appeared and happy gamings!

    Looks great!
I've been thinking of making my own version of Breezehome.
How hard is it to include stuff like that "you upgrade and furniture is placed" stuff?
Haven't done any Creation Kitting since 2012 or so.

When you are modifying an existing player house, the system is already in place. Just pick an item that you want to drop in (for example a chair), drop the chair in the render window, and double click on the chair to bring up its info tab. There choose "enable parent" and find your house name (Whiterun Breezehome). Once you have selected that, the other drop-down menu below it becomes available. From there choose "player house, decorate bedroom/livingroom etc." Keep an eye out for not choosing bedroom/livingroom START unless you want that. The start is what appears before you purchase the decorations. Start items will disappear and be replaced with the bought items.

The Child bedroom/alchemy lab works with this principle, too. For example, all my tower alchemy-lab items are children of the "decorate child bedroom" tab, so they appear when the child bedroom does. They just appear in the tower, while the rest of the bedroom stuff appears in the bedroom. This works outside the house too. I put some edible plants under a window and had the appear when you decorate your kitchen.

      Happy modding! :)

I've always liked the idea of Breezehome having a tower, but most mods that have a tower also fill it to the brim with clutter, and I like the modesty of the home but it aggravated me that it didn't have an enchanting table.

You've managed to check every box i've wanted with a Breezehome mod. Well done, and I couldn't click the download button quick enough.

Thank you! It seems to me that people who like their spaces really sparse as well as people who love clutter are catered for, but some kind of middle road was missing. And if the Dovahkiin has a few extra gold coins, I'm sure s/he would invest in their own enchanting table.

I'm very glad you're happy with this Breezehome. :)

This is a wonderful addition to the Breezehome Mod lineup in that this is an alternative choice for players who A) want a simplistic style (a.k.a not a God Mansion) & B) want more guest bedrooms.

As for me, I was going to use Cynn's Breezehome just because my intent was to use Breezehome for a spouse and two children (+1 pet) while moving our Housecarel Lydia to Steward Duty at Heljarchen Hall so as to prevent the place from being crowded, However, if I wished to keep Lydia on as a Breezehome Housecarl, I would definitely turn to this mod to ensure the place didn't feel too full.

Whiterun is my favorite town, and many of us spend the crucial early levels there getting our Dragonborn off the floor. So it's only natural that we might want to put roots down in the area. Hence why I welcome wholesome Breezehome options such as this mod ;)

I like Cynn's too but I think I'm a bit more partial to furniture than Cynn... I like coziness and space combined. I'm glad you feel you are getting the extra room you wanted. Whiterun is one of my favorites too, so modding it is fun. It's home. :)
