For this updated FOMOD on my presets page, if you do not want NPCs, you can just skip over and download the presets on the next page of the installer. There has been NO update to the presets at all, only the NPCs.
IMPORTANT: This just came to my attention. If you are using the updated FOMOD or are updating any of my NPCs, please delete the old ones first. I have rebuilt all the mods and renamed them a little differently for consistency purposes. It's best to fully uninstall my old ones and reinstall the updated ones.
I cannot create any followers. Anytime I create new followers using new meshes, my Creation Kit crashes. The only thing I can do is change already existing NPCs. If anyone wants to create followers out of my presets, you are more than welcome to.
I am having Creation Kit issues, so if anyone wants to convert these to followers, Oldrim or LE, you are more than free to do so, but I think that is done in SSEEDit, I believe, which I'm unfamiliar with except to clean mods. Just please credit me and those mod authors who have allowed these lovely men to come into fruition.
* Note: If anyone has questions about SOS Full for the bodies, please ask someone else . I don't use it and don't know a lot about it.
If you are struggling to find them, worried they didn't load correctly, you can drag/drop the .jslot file (your preset) into the proper folder (see image):
I was going to install this mod today but I am confused about the description.
The way I read things this mod adds presets with the mods included in the download. Is that correct or do we need to download mods to make these presets work? Besides racemenu.
When I was doing the install it was saying requirements, requirements, requirements at each preset. Is it just saying what was used or what we need active in our mod list? Sorry I am not clear about this. Thanks.
My mod list is in the description. The skins and hair. You need to mods to get the presets to work. Presets aren't mods. They are just presets created using mods saved in a file. You need the required mods to make them look exactly like mine. Presets are also made to change as you see fit.
You will need eyes, hair, skin. They will take any skin. The skin I have listed shows what I used to make these characters.
The High Poly Head link on here is expired I'm sure since they're in the Ukraine and had to set up a new link. I have the updated link in my latest mods on my page.
This is most likely a stupid question, but for someone who's not well verse in modding as others, if I only want to download two vanilla presets, do I download them and enable them as a regular mod since the option to download with organizer was available while also extracting the files to Data\SKSE\Plugins\Chargen\Presets?
Or do I just manually extract files(I'm leaning towards this route but want to be sure)
Was searching for some presets because I'm lazy, but read through the requirements and whenever I click on "High Poly Head - Vector Plexus" I get 'Secure Connection Failed' as a result. Is there somewhere else where this can be downloaded, I've tried searching nexus for it and it turns up nothing, or is there something else that can now be used in place of that? = /
I have already installed each MOS individually but it appears that this install both installs the presets and overwrites the NPC's in-game, is that correct? If so, should I skip the first page of the installer and just install the presets? Should I uninstall the individual MOS esp's and select them all with this fomod on the first page to re-install them? Any help would be appreciated, I've left a handful of questions on different pages and nobody ever replies.
Ignore the FOMOD installer if you just want the presets and install them individually. You can select to NOT have the NPC overhaul. I haven't updated this in a long time. If you DO want NPC overhauls, I suggest you go to my updated AIO installer.
And I'm not sure where you've been asking around, but in regards to my mods, I may not be modding, but I try to come in and respond to those who need help.
With your Vilkas and Farkas replacers, I can finally tell those two apart easily! Different hair, different face paint, both so very easy on the eyes! Thank you for your time and effort making this.
Something broke Farkas and he has purple hair now. The mesh is there but not the texture. I can't find the conflict in SSEedit. :( I did not install any new NPC replacers except for one that changed some bandits. Uninstalled the bandit makeover but Farkas still has purple hair. Pride of Skyrim is after all my other NPC replacers in my load order. I am using Face Discoloration Fix. Why is Farkas not finding his hair texture?
If I could get his hair mesh and textures as loose files, would that help? I think he has SDWings114 hair but I don't know where that is from. Maybe I need to look in the fomod again, I think there was a note which hair set you used but I recall you also said in the newer versions of the hair some hair was missing. I did not install any hair sets, just your presets and his hair worked before.
EDIT: I think he has the same hair as Elebor, from HG hairdos. You kindly posted a link to HG Hair so I will try that and see if it fixes the purple.
If you're getting purple, which you would read if you were on the right mod, is that when you use multiple NPC overhaul mods, you will lose hair textures. You need to install the hair. Farkas uses HG Hairdos from Lover's Lab.
And Discoloration Fix is for skin color fix, which won't work on my mods because of High Poly Head. You have to fix your m"od conflicts.
Please, please, please go to my Male NPC AIO mod. I have tons of notes about this subject along with comments.
Thank you, I will look at your main POS AOI page as you say. However, your file description and file contents indicate this does contain your older NPC replacers, not just presets. When I click on Farkas in enhanced console, it tells me the last mod to change his appearance was PA44 something, that's from here. The FOMOD asked if I wanted the NPC replacers for Vilkas and Farkas (companions NPC replacer) and I checked that checkbox. Farkas the NPC did get your face and the hair pictured here until I broke his hair somehow (will read your other page to fix). I do not have any other POS mods installed, only this one, and no mods with that hair, so Farkas' sweet hair had to have come from this mod. I will get HG hair too and see if that helps but Farkas had the hair in your pictures before without HG hair installed. I appreciate your reply. [edited for spelling]
That sounds like the old version. Honestly, just get the hair mod, which will fix the purple hair, as I said. HG Hairdos should be a link in the description. Regardless, this is the old version.
Farkas is gorgeous again! Huzzah! Your advice in the sticky posts on your newer page was helpful, thank you. Got the hair, got the head just in case, uninstalled, reinstalled, all good. Now to never touch my load order again.

Armor and fur.
EDIT: Nevermind. It turns out it was a completely different mod. It was this: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/33872
