Good to know. The chickens approve :) For me, walking there with a follower was always fine. Riding near or inside any garrisoned fort with the same follower started the trespassing dialogue and the hostility (towards the follower, not the player). I even checked Convenient Horses to see if I could find anything wrong; I didn't.
This worked perfectly. Always wondered what was causing this issue, especially since it became more common AFTER you join the civil war (no matter which side). Thank you!
I would rather have the guards try to arrest me somehow like tie me up with Sexlab Defeat and make me call them dady otherwise they put me in jail with all those other prisoners ... nevermind I go over to LL!
I too have been having this problem, though it only seems to be one fort (might be because I only get close to that one) that a main road goes through. Thanks for this, I have no idea how to do it myself. Maybe now I can walk on a public road without soldiers shouting at me to leave.
One fort? Interesting, is that Fort Dunstad? Actually, I didn't bother to check them all, when I got the issue I had a knee-jerk reaction and made this.

Trust me, there are WAY more useless mods on Nexus, this is a godsend for some people
It can also happen if you attack chickens.
