I got the most bizarre bug with this mod. I installed it a few days ago, specifically the loose files version, and now Vortex is going haywire giving me a hundred windows telling me files from this mod are disconnected. I tried deleting it from Vortex, it didn't work, so I closed Vortex and tried deleting the file in the Vortex folder. Didn't work either. I tried renaming it and then deleting it, but this file just refuses to let itself be deleted. I checked inside the file, and it's all corrupted. Vortex also says I downloaded this mod 14 years ago, which is pretty weird. No idea how this happened, or if it's the fault of this mod or Vortex, but felt like commenting about it, just in case it's the former.
It's one very brief scene to start the quest, and likely an equally short scene if you finish. The quest technically doesn't start unless deliberately eat the stale cheese.
is there a list of all cheeses and where to find the location based cheeses. im trying to complete the sheogorath quest but dont wan to spend the rest of my life looking for cheese
"There are two spreadsheet files in Skyrim >> Data >> Meshes >> Cheebz. One is "Locations", which has a list of all the locations the cheeses are found, and one is "List" which has a blank list of cheeses to help you keep track, without spoiling the locations. Of course, if you really want to cheat, there is a cheese testing cell (yum_cheesecell) with all of them; you can use the coc console command to enter it."
You should follow LOOT advice. especially the RiftenRatwayZone since this very fix it's part of the cleaning procedure for the Dawnguard manual cleaning, see the Tome of xEdit for reference:
Hey not to experienced modder here somehow i have a hard time finding 00083B04 r it shows only one file in update pif you can help me out i'd greatly appreciate it
@ bboyffox not sure if this helps now, it may help others looking for the same issue :) You'll need SSEEdit for this
Launch SSEEdit (NORMAL VERSION! NOT QUICKAUTOCLEAN!). Select yumcheese.esp and click OK. Wait until everything will load.
Double-click yumcheese.esp to expand the plugin. Navigate to Cell\Block 5\Sub-Block 3\00016BCF select - RiftenRaggedFlagon. (cell info appears on the right panel)
Scroll down to the red highlighted XEZN - Encounter Zone RiftenRatwayZone, right-click and select Remove. Click YES in the warning window. Close SSEEdit and save your work.
I saved this in notepad from a modding guide that edited Dawnstar, I've edited the info for the cheesemod, I can't remember which guide it was from, possibly Lexy's.
Is there a guide and/or a way to know what you're missing? I'm trying to finish the mod quests I never did and I'm a little anxious I'll end up with some missing I'll never find.
Trying this on a whim. And I. Am. LOVING ITTTT! This is fantastic! I'm loving finding all the different cheeses, and this thing seems small enough in file size that I may be able to keep it permanently in my load order.

it's literally the same modification explained there for the 00016BCF record

Edit: This thread should get stickied, @noodle01 might save people a real headache.
