Love this mod, and would love to use it with Northern Vanilla Farmhouses: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/91311 unfortunately, the two modify the same meshes, and so are not compatible. Is there a way to reconcile them?

    Thanks!

No, not really; but we should! We don't have a term for it other than half-timbered, which doesn't capture it well. German has several words that should be imported into English, like fachwerk and schadenfreude.

Well, it's more the English words migrate into German than the other way around. But I would also like it if this old Name were taken. Half-timbering/Fachwerk is not just German, it stands for North-Europe / Germanic / Celts/Sweden, ..... I love old Fachwerk Houses. They are great architecture, only the old stairs I do not wish for :D
      Edit:
And i love the Mod. Will Test it next time.

Timber is a germanic word too you know. ;)

English and German took different turns over time... if you had two people one who spoke old-English and the other old-German they would pretty much understand each other very well, the lexical and syntac much the same, and the words quite similar outside pronunciation and dialects. What happened to English are celtic (slight), then Danish (a lot), then French (a wide vocabulary) influence.

ah ok nice, Its just funny for me because, i dont know much about real History...

But i see much about that thing, that the old German Words are in many Lands popular...
You see much in Animes or other Music or other Things like this.

The damn Hitler (And many other fools..) just destroyed to much of it... now we have things like Merkel because of him...

btw sry for bad English !

English is mostly a mixture of Latin (by way of French) and Germanic (same as Dutch) in its ancient origins if my history knowledge is correct. So literally 1 in 4 English words has Germanic roots. (also Hitler = Booo, Hisss lol)

Love the look of this - looks amazing. I cant quite put my finger on what its doing to the woodpost texture though. I've tried a few different ones and they look a little "warped" with this mesh? Using the SMIM mesh.

EDIT: certain wood textures work better than others. Some are very pixelated when using alongside this for some reason.

    Thank's it look so cool!

It overwrites my wood texture for the beams and the path, but it doesn't matter. It looks great.

Wow. Thank you. The NMM button dose not seem to be working for the SMIM fix. I downloaded the manual and that works fine. Thank you again.
