Hey! I love this so much!

I do feel compelled to point out that, between Shadow Magic being known of in the second era and the fact that Azra Nightwielder was in stasis within a crystal for an unknown period of time when you find him in Shadowkey, (but at the very least long enough for legends to be created about him and for an entire village to build up around the spot of his 'death) he was probably an early Second Era mage, not a Third Era mage.

Authors in TES often get details wrong as well (historians in the medieval ages weren't exactly infallible), so if you think about it, this could be a point in favor of this mod's immersive value.

Hello there. SSEedit pointed out an error:

[00:00] Checking for Errors in [03] Imperial Knowledge Book Mod.esp
[00:00] [REFR:0003043B] (places Book3ValuableGreatCollapse "On the Great Collapse" [BOOK:000EDA8E] in GRUP Cell Temporary Children of MarkarthWizardsQuarters01 "Dwemer Museum" [CELL:00030313])
[00:00]     REFR -> Record marked as deleted but contains: Virtual Machine Adapter
[00:00] Done: Checking for Errors, Processed Records: 321, Errors found: 1, Elapsed Time: 00:00

I have no idea what that means or if it will cause any trouble. I would appreciate some insight on this.
    Thanks in advance.

I actually like this mod since it adds new books that explain things that happened in the past that weren't originally put into the game, the only book that I kind want in the game is one that explains in a more lore friendly way why there isn't Spell Crafting in Skyrim.

Hi, do you know if they are "solved" by xedit auto clean? The result after running it makes me believe it will make the mods books spawn on top off vanilla items removed to make room on shelves, tables etc? (rarely use the auto clean thing. mostly do stuff manually in xedit otherwise sorry if stupid question but I recall sometimes mod author do this intentionally etc) :P

yes, the quick auto clean function automatically removes all deleted references and ITMs. however, i stopped using the plugin personally because there were a lot of typos (for a book mod, kind of surprised they'd be overlooked) and i just have a lot of mods that change interiors. meaning a lot of floating/clipping books just due to incompatibilities. and no you don't need ITMs or deleted references to make this mod work correctly. the author should have cleaned it themselves. the ITMs aren't doing much since they already exist in the base game. the deleted references are actively harmful if any other mod tries to override them. the quick auto clean function won't remove the deleted references exactly, it will just remove the "deleted" flag and replace it with 1) the initially disabled flag; 2) an XESP enable parent that makes the ref disabled as long as the player exists, which is all the time; and 3) a Z coordinate of -30,000, which places it waaaaay under the map. so it will still effectively be deleted, it will just be deleted in a way that can't cause your game to crash.

Alright yeah now I get the idea better. Thanks for the easy read explanation much appreciated:)
yeah some mods might make some interiors a bit messy with one like this and even dangerous like the physics when walking into bones, big kettles, wagons etc haha. Myself I have some mods adding dlc items to vendors and such needing to be resolved only so I think I will try it soon. Spelling errors can be a bit annoying sometimes but I tend to overlook it if the overall writing is enjoyable, I rather not spoil myself too much by looking in the files, any opinions on the books content like story, lore themselves compared to vanilla books?

which mods are those (adding dlc items to vendors)? i'd like to try that too, always bothered me.
the books are great if you can get past the typos and grammar errors. i think they are really interesting. the lore books were always more interesting in previous TES games. skyrims' books are so dull in comparison. so these lore topics are great in comparison. i guess i'd say they just don't have the same level of polish as the vanilla books

Alright thanks, yeah the interesting ones in Skyrim is often the ones returning from previous games. Nostalgic memory of playing Oblivion back in 2006-2010 after maybe 1-2 years of sporadic playing, first time I read a "long" non quest related book in game and was shocked how I missed out on interesting stories all that time xD (it was the one about the traveling vampire hunter, shocking plot twist for a teenager thinking its boring information on vampire enemies haha)
I tried or considered others but eventually ended up using "DLC Integration" by Dillonn241
      https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/8032
With a bit of modifications to it in my handmade patch at the end of load order to sometimes delete, add, reduce amount or letting other mods overwrite etc. Cant exactly recall now why I choose it over similiar mods, but I think many had less integration and sometimes focusing only on specific things.

yeah i know what you mean, once you reach a certain point of mods its like having to check every new plugin you install in xedit to make sure there aren't any conflicts. i will give that one a try, looks good. not sure why i never saw this before

I love finding new books. I just have to find a mod that makes the writing smaller...instead of the vanilla retard size.

Finally! I've been waiting for a mod to add new reading material, for I enjoy reading in Skyrim, especially after having done nearly everything there is in Skyrim and who better to do it than Imperial Library itself! :)

A very pleasant surprise, way to go! I'll stay tuned for future volumes as well

I also recommend Book Covers Skyrim - Lost Library. It adds a couple hundred new books - though I'm not sure if it's compatible with this.

Just when I thought my load order was fairly complete. But then you had to go and say "interesting and obscure". Sigh.
