Hello! Recently had the change to rebuild a loadorder. Using this makes Sofia unable to mount her summoned horse. Upon checking last edit is by this mod. Unsure if anything else is at play, any tips to find out if this is indeed the offending mod?
A bit of a late reply, I've had Sofia since 2019 on numerous playthroughs and there was always an issue with her horse. She'd jump on whatever was close to her (disrupting other followers having a horse) only got on her horse if nothing else was there. Yep, frustrating but she's so unique from the other followers that I kept her. (hilarious when she suggested shouting another follower off a mountain ... won't say where) She's annoyingly adorable.
OMG this gave me the best laugh I've had in a long time!
I use a Vortex profile for a player character called "Mod Tester" - which, as one can imagine, is loaded with all kinds of crap while testing mod & script interactions, bug fixes and the like. Now, I hadn't used that Vortex profile for ages, then yesterday, I installed this mod globally across all profiles on Vortex in order to test it.
Unfortunately (or should that be fortunately?), I also had SexLab & Aroused Creatures installed (due to previous animation & sound, script interraction testing) ... and of course, Sofia is naked at the start of the game - leading to hightened tension in all of the horses nearby (due to AC). As one can imagine, leading Saadia to the stables for the Alik'r results in a rampant horse chasing her & getting to her before Kematu, interrupting the "In My Time of Need" quest with hilarious results!
I hadn't obtained Sofia at the beginning of the game and had left her there intentionally. So, reloaded a save prior to doing the "In My Time of Need" quest and went and obtained her as a follower, which lead to her being chased by a horse as well!
TLDR: This mod's location change interacts with the AC mod unless you obtain Sofia ASAP at the start of the game or move the spawn into one of the alcoves by the drawbridge before the main gate.
She looses her armor when you change the cell, not always, but a lot of times, which is pretty annoying. What exactly does this have to do with the body meshes one would use for her? And why on earth would one use CK or xEdit to "add armor"? You clearly don't know what you are talking about and you don't even know anything about the "naked bug" at all.
I haven't experienced the "naked bug" before but then again I haven't used Sofia a lot. The bug is possibly due to Sofia's scripts that strip her accidentally triggering on cell load. Sofia is an old mod and her scripts need a lot of updating to be bug-free. I can't program so editing scripts is well outside my abilities. My suggestion is to try using Nether's Follower Framework and put the armor in her "adventuring gear" inventory to have NFF handle the armor instead.
I realise that this is tantamount to a necro thread. However, Sofia "suddenly" losing her clothes is part of the mod, it's something she does on a regular basis, she talks about it often, like how she "didn't feel like wearing clothes that day" etc.
I built this patch specifically with ICAIO in mind. The patch is intended to work with this patch and ICAIO both enabled.
I should mention that this patch might not work if you already visited Whiterun stables mid-save, due to the way Skyrim's engine works. Best way to ensure no problems is to start a new game.
That area is still crowded with a lot of markers from ICAIO - not to mention NPCs frequent there. This patch solves the conflict differently by moving Sofia out of the way to a more secluded spot and making her sleep with the horsies.

Could you fix the "naked bug" as well? A lot of people would appreciate that.

Thanks for the quick response, I do appreciate that.
Edit: Sofia is causing the crash, not this mod.
Edit: If you have immersive citizen , then this mod won't work. disable them & this will work.
