Xtudo suggests to do the following to remove the glow effect. They wont look as cool, but it removes the glow effect in shade and at night time. Sadly you can't get the best of both worlds.
Click on the mesh, then follow the path NiTriShape -> NiTriShapeData -> BSLightingShaderProperty
And edit "Lighting Effect 1" to 0.600000 (in the "broken" meshes this value was 10.000000 or 5.000000 too much!)
Was trying to do this earlier, just open 3D tree and plants using SSEedits, find the dragon's tongue under the TREE session (so should be something like tree_dragontongue), delete that entry so that 3D tree mod doesn't edit vanilla dragon tongue at all and the game will use this model + color. This is a very crude solution (as it really just reversed changes from 3D tree) as I have no knowledge of modding, but it works good enough for me :D
I love all your mods but this must be my favourite! It's so beautiful! I wonder if you would consider making something similar and glowy to the yellow mountain flower which is so rare though still looks so plain?
