This mod can be ESLed by simply setting the ESL flag. It does not need to be compacted first. I like to do that (non-compacting ESL setting) in Wrye Bash, where you can just right click on the ESP, check the qualifications, then set the flag.

Now his comment of not wanting the sword to decorate "some thief's trophy room" makes sense. No thief is displaying a basic iron sword as a trophy, this one the other hand.
It just takes a little bit of editing in SSEEdit. I'll give a step by step here for anyone that's curious. 1. Load up SSEEdit with LOTD .esm and this mod's .esp selected. 2. Find the Amren's Family Sword (Replica) entry in LOTD (it's id is xx16682d) 3. Right click on it's entry and find the option "copy as override into..." click on that option. you can either copy it into this mod's esp or into a new esp that SSEEdit will generate for you. 4. Looking at the main Amren's sword entry, copy anything that's different from the LOTD version into the new record for the replica you just made. 5. Save your changes and enjoy.
Has anyone ever made a dual sheath patch for this sword? I love the look so much and it works with my desert nomad style dunmer, but wanted to dual wield and would love seeing it done right

Hi there i post today beceause i have a serios trouble with all of his mod, let me explain. I tried to install all his mod but nothing happen none of the weapon got changed and even harkon sword mod doesn't change not even this mod who look aswome it just remove the sword complety from game for this mod and for the other ? Well it does'nt change at all does anybody have a fix ?
Should Amren equip it after we complete the quest? I checked it on a new game, and it was added to his inventory, but he still had his junky old sword and didn't equip the new one. Console removing the iron sword got him to equip the sexy curved sword, tho-. ^_^
