"...Long ago, before the foundations of stone were formed, before men came to be, in outer realms out of human comprehension, there existed magical beings of a divine race, which in popular folklore of the lands of Asmenor and beyond, were called angels.
Sometime in the history of that race, one of the pure angels revolted, falling in disgrace along with his followers.
The name of this one, was Tor, lord of darkness and desperation.
When he fell, this event was so outrageous to the natural way of things, that his disgrace materialized in the form of dust, which caused Tor to cough this unholly material from his lungs.
In pure hate and frustration, Tor weeped his own blood, that dripped directly in the cursed dust on the ground.
With pure anger consuming his heart, Tor pulled out from the blood-soaked dust in the ground, a wicked sword that formed directly from his ash and blood.
The sword appeared to be made of gold and Steel, and a big crystal adorned the pommel in the end, though appeared to be made of such ordinary materials, the unholly artifact far surpassed any weapon humankind would ever create.
Letters began to burn directly on the gold handle and blade, showing the following sentences.
In the Handle reads:
Terminato Metus - Bounded in fear
Animarum Est Alligatum - Souls chained
Semper in timore - Forever in terror
In the blade:
Hostis Humanal Salutis - Enemy of the human sanity
Vale et omnia quae bonus - Farewell to all that is good
O pater sanguinem sprevi - Oh father of the spurned blood
Dido Tus, et festum incipere - Spread the word, let the feast begin
Stading up, Tor pointed his cursed sword to the skies and said very loudly, in a unnatural way that even the mountains around shaked like in a thunderstorm:
"HEAR ME BROTHERS, THIS VILE ACT OF YOURS SHALL BE YOUR RUIN, WITH THIS CURSED ARTIFACT, I SHALL SPREAD FEAR IN THE HEARTS OF ANY LIVING BEING UPON THIS EARTH, ABSORB THEIR SOULS AND HOPE, THE WORLD WILL DROWN UNDER MY SPURNED BLOOD, THE COSMOS WILL BE PAINTED WITH THE DARKNESS OF MY HEART, AND THOU PEACE SHALL BE CONSUMED BY THE ABYSSAL POWER THAT I, TOR, WILL BRING UPON THINE EXISTENCE, SO I PROPHESY."
After this fact, thousands of years came to pass, and Tor was not heard again among his kind, but in his absence, he left his sister, Irma, to serve as Herald of the Spurned Blood in the earth, fostering any type of misfortunes where she went, and with her, she always wielded the wicked sword, which she called...
Abyssal Gaoler
Those facts happened thousands of years ago, legends tell that Irma was defeated by a brave group of adventurers, and the sword, which knew no other master, vanished in search of Tor, and if the stories are true, an evil and powerful mage has found it, and started to wield the sword to absord the souls of his test subjects.
The Abyssal Gaoler is an unholly artifact used to hold and torture the souls of those it kills.
This sword is a vital part of a tabletop RPG written by my great friend Wesley, I am enjoying so much to play it that I am making several 'fan arts" so to speak, about this RPG of his, you can find more about the sword and the RPG in an image of the Abyssal Gaoler that I posted months ago.
This mod, video and art above are both tributes/fan arts I made about the RPG.
(I didn't made the song btw, those are made purely for fun, The song playing in the background is Night of the Hunt: Rite of Blood - Cécile Grosvenor By Alex Roe)
The Abyssal Gaoler features a similar Dark Souls style of upgrading.
(ALL UPGRADES ARE MADE AT ANVILS AND SMITHING FORGES, SEE MATERIALS BELOW)
From +0 to +1 it consumes: 1 Gold Ingot, 1 Steel Ingot, 1 Black Soul Gem(Filled) and 1 Abyssal Gaoler+0
From +1 to +2 it consumes: 1 Gold Ingot, 2 Steel Ingot, 1 Black Soul Gem(Filled) and 1 Abyssal Gaoler+1
From +2 to +3 it consumes: 1 Gold Ingot, 3 Steel Ingot, 1 Black Soul Gem(Filled) and 1 Abyssal Gaoler+2
From +3 to +4 it consumes: 1 Gold Ingot, 4 Steel Ingot, 1 Black Soul Gem(Filled) and 1 Abyssal Gaoler+3
From +4 to +5 it consumes: 1 Gold Ingot, 5 Steel Ingot, 1 Black Soul Gem(Filled) and 1 Abyssal Gaoler+4
The sword also has an enchantment, a mix of Fear, Slowness and Soul Trap, which gets stronger with every upgrade of the sword.
NON ENCHANTED VERSION BECOMES ENCHANTABLE AT +5.
The sword is located in Rannveig's Fast , embbed in a burnt corpse in the mage's cells room.

You can create the 1 Handed version, 2 Handed Versions (Enchanted and non enchanted) at Skyforge in Whiterun using the following material:
1 Firewood
1 Firesalt
1 Bloody Rag
1 Blacksmith Hammer
1 Embalming Tool (Brain Pick)
5 Steel Ingots
3 Gold Ingots
1 Black Soul Gem (filled)
2 Handed versions are only craftable, the one you obtain in Rannveig's Fast is 1 Handed.
Copy the contents of the archive to your Skyrim\Data folder. Overwrite the files if asked to.
Then active the .esp in Skyrim's Launcher.

Use a installer of your choice :)
