I reallllly wish the regent model wasn't changed for the 1 handed version. That 2 handed model is so perfect, I wish I could use it with a hand free in vr. The shortened version just doesn't have the same perfect ratio.
Is there a simple way that I can modify the base weapon damage? I don't think the generic weapons that you can craft are overly OP but I am still doing too much damage at the level I am at and would love to make it more immersive for myself.
To date I cannot find a sword design I like more than your 2 handed regent, in any mod, game, show, or real life. Unfortunately, the one handed one with the shorter handle is way less balanced looking, and hurts my perfectionism. Normally I'd just love the mod anyway, but I'm playing vr this time, and 2 handed swords in vr are just 1 handed swords where you can't use your second hand. So... I guess I'm wondering, as someone whos only made a few tiny texture edits in their life:
If I were to swap the models and textures of the 2 handed regent to the one handed regent, would it cause any sort of problem with the way the sword appeared? Would it wrap appropriately, etc?
I truly wish all of these weapons were added to the leveled list. Which ones are and are not? Additionally, I understand that it seems weird to use up a whole ingot just to upgrade a weapon, but that is how the in-game progression is set up to work. I think it would be better to keep it that way for your weapons aswell.
Sadly I don't really know the world of Skyrim that well. I've probably spent nearly a year tooling around with adding mods and stuff, then running around looking at things, but have only completed the main quest once. Off the top of my head maybe place it in a Jarl's personal stash somewhere? Or an imperial armory of confiscated weapons? Somewhere that's moderately challenging to reach? I dunno, maybe some hardcore Skyrim peep can offer a cooler suggestion?
If you are going to make another claymore design, there was one i bought from cold steel. http://www.coldsteel-uk.com/store/Two-Handed-Great-Sword.html This BEAST of a weapon isn't exactly elegant. Or easy to use. But its pretty versatile for a greatsword.

Question.

Can you make a generic claymore using this model? Lower stats than Justice maybe? It just looks so cool.
I'm glad you're considering it
